Story
Tom Segura is known for his twisted takes and irreverent comedic voice. But after a few years of crazy tours and churning out podcasts weekly, all while parenting two young children, he desperately needs a second to himself. It’s not that he hates his friends and family — he’s not a monster — he’s just beat, which is why his son’s (ruthless) first full sentence, “I’d like to play alone, please,” has since become his mantra.

Very much like sitting in bar listening to him speak and hang out. Was 100% what I would expect from Tom.

Story
Everyone from Wakarusa, Indiana, remembers the infamous case of January Jacobs, who was discovered in a ditch hours after her family awoke to find her gone. Margot Davies was six at the time, the same age as January—and they were next-door neighbors. In the twenty years since, Margot has grown up, moved away, and become a big-city journalist. But she’s always been haunted by the feeling that it could’ve been her. And the worst part is, January’s killer has never been brought to justice.

Good young adult book
Reviewed: 08-20-22
If it weren't for the swearing this would be a good book for high school students. If the swearing doesn't bother you, and your comfortable with lesbian scenes, I would recommend it for teens. Those two issues are my only hesitation in letting teens read it. As a Crime Junkie I of course had to read this. All small town Midwest girls can really relate to this books characters. I totally had childhood memories coming up the whole time. This is a very classic Americana midwest life story. 🙂

Story
Make sure the kids aren’t around! Just because you’re a grown-up doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the art of the children’s bedtime story. Nick Offerman presents this collection of 12 short stories written in the style of a classic kids' tale, but with a decidedly dark and adult approach. What really happened after Snow White died, from the perspective of the one medically trained dwarf? A naive wizard professor reports back from the trenches of an underprivileged school of magic. And much more!

This sounds like a computer reading.

The reading is very disjointed and the grammer, pausimy, and vocabulary are all off. Some stories have a different tone because of this weird translation. This file should be deleted.

Since the book is long and download required it to be broken up into multiple books, they should have labels on the books and Chapters so you can pick up and leave off where you want and know where you are in the series.
