Story
At 24, Sebastian Maniscalco arrived in LA with a suitcase and saved up minimum wages. He knew no one and nothing about standup comedy, but he was determined to go for it anyway. At 44, he's on the Forbes' list of highest earning comedians, sells out arenas, and has starred in four hit comedy specials including Why Would You Do That? on Showtime. Stay Hungry tells the story of the 20 years in between.

Story
Martin and his friends discovered that their world is computer generated and that by altering the code they could alter reality. They traveled back in time to Medieval England to live as wizards. Almost everything they've done since then has, in one way or another, blown up in their faces. So of course they decide to make dragons. It does not go well.

Somewhat entertaining, but the story lacked.

Seems like the books are starting to feel a bit forced. It's turning out to be more of a day in the life of wizards, rather than what it originally set out to become (which is more about how the world is nothing more than a computer program). The idea can be used more creatively rather than just picking plots with the same characters. Great performance as usual, but the story was definitely forgettable.

Story
The Earth is changing. The alien invasion brought social upheaval, advanced technology, and an armada of peacekeeping robots. But Alan, a college student pursuing a now-useless degree, cares little about all of this. He has only one thing on his mind: the Game. A fully immersive virtual reality, the Game appears to be a major part of the invading civilization. Alan can't wait to play, recklessly diving into the digital universe. Soon though, Alan realizes the Game is anything but simple, and the stakes are higher than he ever imagined.

Great performance, ok RPG story

I felt like the entire book was a prelude to something that never happened. It was well preformed, but lacked an arc, no major conflict and no major resolution. Not sure if I will continue on this journey.

Story
Jason logs into Awaken Online fed-up with reality. He's in desperate need of an escape, and this game is his ticket to finally feeling the type of power and freedom that are so sorely lacking in his real life. Awaken Online is a brand new virtual reality game that just hit the market, promising an unprecedented level of immersion. Yet Jason quickly finds himself pushed down a path he didn't expect. In this game, he isn't the hero. There are no damsels to save. There are no bad guys to vanquish.

Excellent RPG story

Great story, very realistic and kept me interested through out the read. I did however think the performance was good, not great. David Stifel is a bit too old to narrate these types of books/stories. It sounded as if my grandfather was reading me a book. He made the future sound like it was the past. It got better as the story came along, but I would have preferred a Wil Wheaton type to have read this one. Great story though.

Story
At some point, every one of us embarks on a journey to find love. We meet people, date, get into and out of relationships, all with the hope of finding someone with whom we share a deep connection. This seems standard now, but it’s wildly different from what people did even just decades ago. Single people today have more romantic options than at any point in human history. With technology, our abilities to connect with and sort through these options are staggering. So why are so many people frustrated?
