Story
After defending his fledgling realm against the undead lord Gaja Katar all winter long, Count Minalan of the Magelaw faces a new threat in the spring: the Nemovort Shakathet, favored of Korbal, leading the mighty hordes out of the Penumbra. This time, Minalan faces a real strategist; one who drives his armies with purpose and efficiency. The road to war leads through Megelin Castle and the vulnerable lands to the south of Vanado. Old enemies will become allies, and old friends will become valuable assets.

Spellmonger series is my favorite.
Reviewed: 12-07-20
Of all the books and series I’ve enjoyed from Audible the Spellmonger series is my absolute favorite. Very, very well written. The author expects at least 30 books for the series. I look forward to them all.

Story
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

I enjoyed it, even if the writing felt a little...

Where does The Safanarion Order Omnibus, Books 1-3 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Somewhere in the low middle of this genre.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Let the characters give each other a hard time. I heard ample opportunity for whips and jokes but it remained-Nice.
What does Vikas Adam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Brings the characters to life, even if the writer didn't help him much. LOL
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not really, but in this genre I'm not wanting to be moved, just entertained.
Any additional comments?
Still a good listen. Audible can attest that I will return it if I don't like it. It was good enough for me to keep.

Story
Opposites attack! When the Magelord Minalan the Spellmonger’s two apprentices, Tyndal and Rondal, were knighted after the battle of Timberwatch, they were dubbed Knights Magi: A new class of nobility for distinguished High Magi. Designed to combine the pursuit of arcane knowledge with the noble aspirations of chivalry, it elevated them above common warmage...in theory. The problem was they had no idea how to be a Knight Mage...because no one had ever been one before.

After a year of fighting across three different lands, Dante and Blays have finally brought Gladdic to justice - and in the process, they've unleashed a horror beyond all reckoning. The enemy is known as the White Lich. He is ancient. He is immensely powerful. And Gladdic believes he will soon enslave all of Tanar Atain. Their only chance to defeat him is to strike fast, before the lich has regained his power. But attacking him directly would be suicide.

A great A to B story without flashback
Reviewed: 07-14-17
So few stories now are from A to B. This one doesn't have all the flashbacks and is a truly unique story with great characters. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
