So interesting and fun, even through the tense and almost frightening spots. Shannon Mayer is so clever how she hints at what's to come but you have no idea how she's going to make it happen. You're left hanging on the edge of your seat waiting for the next book to be released.

If you enjoy paranormal mysteries with some romance tossed in, this is a series you should read or listen to. Granted this is book 10 in the series, so I recommend you start with book 1.
Things to look forward to; interesting characters that might be a little flawed and seeing them deveolop throughout the series, cross overs with some of Amanda's characters from her other paranormal series (for me that's the best part, it's like old friends dropping by to help out in sticky situations), and a whole lot of snark that brings in the fun.
All of Amanda's series are amazing, you can't go wrong picking up any of them. I can't wait for her to get the next book out, I love these stories!

Sadie and King are such a sweet couple. And it's always fun to return to Keating Hollow with all your old friends that popped up here and there. Where nothing is more important than family, blood or made, and helping friends no matter what. The 2 main characters in this book are more adorable than you can imagine. I recommend this book highly, and this series. If you haven't been to Keating Hollow yet, this is a great series to start. Waiting patiently (not) for the next book in this series.

I just adore this series! It's a good thing Marion and her sister Charlotte work part time for the Magical Task Force, because there always seems to be some scandal or other that could put the Miss Matched Dating Agency out of business. I think the author, Deanna Chase, is using that as a running gag. Whether or not that is the case, the plots are twisty, the characters are snarky with huge hearts and are just fun to tag along with on their adventures. This one will keep you up late trying to figure out what is really going on and why, starting with the disappearance of a single mother trying to better her life for her son. How can Marion and Charlotte not step in it getting involved with this case. You'll run through all the feels on this one, so be prepared. The narrator, Gabra Zackman, is extremely talented. She has a voice for every character, You'll know exactly who's who. I'm so looking forward to book 6 in this series!

Diana's continuing story gets better with every book. The relationship development and growth between the characters keeps you turning pages or listening far into the night. You will go through all the feels in this one, I mean the full range of emotions, so keep the kleenex handy for both crying and laughing. That's what makes these books so good, you never know what to expect, but you can be sure it will be surprising and will touch your heart.
The one point that bugged me a little was the 2 narrators. Don't get me wrong, they are both very talented. and both did a great job. I also concede that the author wrote the chapters from 2 different characters perspectives. The only issue I have, and it's petty, is that while listening, you get used to hearing a characters voice by the narrator, and when they switch, it can be confusing to have a different voice in the next chapter. Just a personal preference.
Can't wait for the next book.

This second book (The Witche's Secret Love) of The Witches of Befana Bay series is such a satisfying read or listen. A strong female MC determined to save her man that's not her man. Grandma to the 4 girls who lost their parents when they were little, is head of the Befana Bay coven. She raised the girls and helped them learn their magic. This time it's Lily's turn to fight dangerous magic. But, she ends up with a very special guardian angel there to assist. Deanna Chase is a master of character development and relationship building. That talent along with really great plots make these books unputdownable (is that a word?). The narrator, Gabra Zackman, does a fantastic job of bringing each of the characters to life. I am sooooo looking forward to the next book in this series. Great job by all involved.

The MC is very curious, and ends up sticking her nose in where the Sheriff doesn't want her to go. The yarn store she runs with her sister is also a haven for abused women who need to get away from their husbands. A very noble effort, but problems sometimes cause her to get in too deep. The character development and the relationships formed by the characters is so much fun to go through with them all. The narrator does an amazing job of bringing each and every character to life. This is a great cozy mystery series which gets better with each book. Can't wait for the next book in this fun series.

It is so great to catch up with the original characters, to see what has gone on in their happily ever afters. Noel has always been one of my favorite characters. And finding out what talents her children have is so exciting. The relationships between the characters has been expertly developed and so co.plete. The story is a joy to listen to. You know exactly which characters are interacting by the variety of voices the narrator uses. If you enjoy amazing characters with great relationships, and haven't made the trip to Keating Hollow, you are truly missing out. I would love to live there. It already feels like I have so many friends there. So looking forward to the next Keating Hollow story.

The third book in The Golden World series is fabulous. The first book was interesting and trapped you into wanting more. The second book was better yet, by answering many of the questions that popped into mind while reading or listening to the first two. Very satisfying. But Gossamer trumps the other 2 with the trust issues between characters, working on broken relationshipsto make things better for the strong female MC. Plus going off in a direction that is surprising. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat, you won't want to put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Alpacas and Alibis will leave you wanting more. There are amazing characters that you'll be dieing (get it ?) to know better. This first book in hopefully a long series was such fun to listen to. The narrator did a fabulous job creating different voices for each of the characters, which makes listening to a book a treat. The twist at the end has me really wanting the next book in this series NOW!
