About this listen

Spirit witch Sadie Lewis has never been a powerful witch. Her only talent is being able to feel other peoples’ emotions, especially when she sings. It’s what has kept her from pursuing a musical career. The idea of being overwhelmed with her empath ability while in the middle of a crowded concert venue is terrifying. But when the perfect deal comes around, she can’t refuse. Only now she’s been teamed up with King McGrath, a boy from her past who she hurt badly and it seems he might not ever forgive her.

Rocker King McGrath hasn’t had the easiest life. After being kicked out of his home as a teen for his unusual abilities, trust is hard to come by. He’s worked hard for every bit of success he’d managed, but his career is in a slump. When he finally lands a deal that gives him the control he’s always craved, he learns he’s now working with the one person he thought he’d never see again. Now he’s moments from walking away from it all.

But when pain turns to healing and King finally starts to trust again, a curse wreaks havoc on the residents of Keating Hollow. Now it’s up to Sadie and King to break it and restore the magical order to the special town they’ve both come to love. And just maybe they’ll find a way to heal past wounds and get the happily-ever-after they both deserve.

Another great read.

I am so happy we are back in Keating Hollow with all these new characters, and we get to see a few of our old favorites too. This is by far one of my favorite book series and cannot wait to see what happens next.

Loved it!

Sweet as a Hallmark movie….until a greedy, evil witch arrives in Keating Hollow.
Rock star King McGrath’s career is really going great! When he agrees to collaborate on a new song, he never could have dreamed of who it would be with.
Sadie has always wanted to sing, but never imagined her big break would happen the way it did.
The two of them singing together is literally magical, but what will change now after the curse?
I really liked this story. It was a little too sweet at the beginning, but turned out to be great.
I love the books in the series and Gabra Zackman was great as always.

Mayhem and curses

When Sadie discovers she will be singing alongside with her long lost love, King McGrath things are a bit rocky. But things quickly turn into a sort of friendship as the duo get to know one another and confess what truly happened between them and their family secrets. Unfortunately for King, his mother is up to no good and Cin curses Sadie. I thought the story was interesting and found how the curse took root was very interesting and hilarious. I laughed a few times in some scenes. The narrator, Gabra Zachman does a wonderful job portraying all of the characters in the series. I don’t have any trouble following along and can tell who is speaking a few chapters in. This series is perfect for fans of family drama, romance, and a bit of hocus pocus. I can’t wait for the next one!

They have a history and not a good one.

The narrator is an old friend fans of the series are used and she does an excellent job.

They have a history and not a good one. Their present could be so much more if they get past their problem. His music career needs a boost. The opportunity is there IF he sings with Sadie. Little does he know their issues aren't all that makes her hesitate. She's an empath. A huge audience could be more than she can handle.

The situation changes when a town-wide curse interferes. Can they team up to help the town and their careers? What about their feelings for each other?

We get to visit old friends and see how their lives are progressing. Don't worry if you are new to the series, this can stand alone.

Enjoy. I did.

I love Keating Hollow

I always love going back to Keating Hollow. Each book is a stand alone, but it's nice know all of the side characters already. Sadie and King are great and well rounded. I was rooting for them from the beginning. I only wish I could hear their song. Gabra Zackman is a great narrator. Hearing her voice is almost like meeting an old friend.
