Story
As Adolph Hitler rose to power in 1930s Germany, a growing wave of fascism began to take root on American soil. Nazi activists started to gather in major American cities, and by 1933, there were more than one hundred anti-Semitic groups operating openly in the United States. Few Americans dared to speak out or fight back—until an organized resistance of notorious mobsters waged their own personal war against the Nazis in their midst. Gangland-style.

Story
Mjölnir hit the creature dead at the base of the tail, and it raised its head, shrieking soundlessly in agony at the strike. The rider, unprepared for the sudden motion, tried to maintain his perch on the creature's neck. Legion tugged hard on his tether. The rider fell back, shouting with his own soundless voice as he crashed over and rolled down the beast's back, being struck a tremendous blow by his mount's uncontrollably thrashing tail.

You’re drawn into a dementia of fiction which holds the readers interest. The fictitious characters are very well defined and their roles are a mixture of personalities clearly defined.
This series is very well thought out and written with a depth of hand.

The audacity of whiteness coupled with the intentional, disrespect wrapped in a mentality of superiority. When the dyke breaks, what will whiteness do?

Story
In Shoutin’ in the Fire, Danté Stewart gives breathtaking language to his reckoning with the legacy of white supremacy - both the kind that hangs over our country and the kind that is internalized on a molecular level. Stewart uses his personal experiences as a vehicle to reclaim and reimagine spiritual virtues like rage, resilience, and remembrance - and explores how these virtues might function as a work of love against an unjust, unloving world.

Story
In the United States, teenagers can focus on one task for only sixty-five seconds at a time, and office workers average only three minutes. Like so many of us, Johann Hari was finding that constantly switching from device to device and tab to tab was a diminishing and depressing way to live. He tried all sorts of self-help solutions—even abandoning his phone for three months—but nothing seemed to work. So Hari went on an epic journey across the world to interview the leading experts on human attention—and he discovered that everything we think we know about this crisis is wrong.

This books reads as ifI wrote it I’ve had so many like conversations, but so many individuals are sold on how they are not the same without this technology, of which they are correct. They just haven’t accepted that it is negative correctness not positive correctness. The psychology behind a thumbs up, smiley face or another emoji changes your emotions…wow.
This book was very done. Thank you.
