Joey Morales was the last recruit of the government's full black operation, the Orphan Program. Trained to be an assassin until she washed out, she was rescued by Evan Smoak, the former agent known as Orphan X. Now Joey, a world-class hacker, starts training for one of her biggest challenges yet: having a normal life. Still a teenager, she discovers she loves music as much as hacking, if not more so. But as she carves out a space for herself, the one thing missing is a family to support her endeavors.

Story
In AD 1119, a group of nine crusaders became known as the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon - a militant monastic order charged with protecting pilgrims and caravans traveling on the roads to and from the Holy Land. In time, the Knights Templar would grow in power and, ultimately, be laid low. But a small offshoot of the Templars endure and have returned to the order's original mission: to defend the roads of the world and guard those who travel on them.

Not enough of these books in the series! I’ve listened to the two in the series….6, or 8 times each over the years! I love the characters, the world that may be behind the veil. The subtle Easter eggs that tie into some of his other works.

As a fan of the Rain/Dox universe, I enjoyed how the author dove into the genesis of Dox. As always I loved his knowledge of tactics, understanding of combat and all that entails (the shakes and the heightened sexual arousal being a few). Great story, great performance but excuse me now as I am feeling parched and must find myself a Bombay Sapphire Martini!

Nothing ever changes in Sanders. The town's still got a video store, for God's sake. So why doesn't Eli Teague want to leave? Not that he'd ever admit it, but maybe he's been waiting - waiting for the traveler to come back. The one who's roared into his life twice before, pausing just long enough to drop tantalizing clues before disappearing in a cloud of gunfire and a squeal of tires. The one who's a walking anachronism, with her tricorne hat, flintlock rifle, and steampunked Model A Ford.

But for her (omitting Harry Potter) this is her favorite book! I love all of Peter Cline’s work, but this one is….different. Maybe it’s the lack of crazy physics or green cockroaches, but it’s….pure. Is there another one somewhere collecting dust? I sure hope so. If you’ve gotten this far in the review and you’re wondering, click the purchase button already. If Peter is reading this, dust off the follow up that I Know you’ve kicked around and make it happen! My wife (and many others) will thank you

Tim Kennedy has a problem; he only feels alive right before he’s about to die. Kennedy, a Green Beret, decorated Army sniper, and UFC headliner, has tackled a bull with his bare hands, jumped out of airplanes, dove to the depths of the ocean, and traveled the world hunting poachers, human traffickers, and the Taliban. But he’s also the same man who got kicked out of the police department, fire department, and as an EMT, before getting two women pregnant four days apart, and finally, been beaten up by his Special Forces colleagues.

But this….unvarnished look into Tims journey, made me laugh, made me cry, made me proud to have crowdsourced Range 15, be an Army vet and made me want to be a better human being! I don’t believe Tim or Nick will ever read this review, but to the person reading it now, buy the book and be better. (I’m trying to do the same!)

One that has already cost him most of his soul as well as everything he once held dear.

Something called the “Blue Juice" is coming. For all of us. Luckily, me (Chip Collins), Pete, Nikola Tesla, Bobo, and FBI Agent Gina Phillips are here to kick its ass, and send it back to last Tuesday. Maybe. Or maybe we'll fail, and everyone in the multiverse is doomed. (Seriously, you might want to get that underground bunker ready.) Either way, I've got to get home to Julie and find out – woah, I'm not about to tell you that right here in the book description! TMI, dude.

I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.
