Story
In The Return of the Gods, Cahn takes the listener on a journey from an ancient parable, the ancient inscriptions in Sumer, Assyria, and Babylonia that become the puzzle pieces behind what is taking place in our world to this day, specifically in America. The mystery involves the gods. Who are they? What are they? And is it possible that these beings, whose origins are from ancient times, are the unseen catalysts of modern culture?

Story
HMS Wagtail is a river gunboat, a ship seemingly at the end of her unusual life, lying in a Hong Kong dockyard awaiting her last summons to the breakers' yard. Commander Justin Rolfe is also seemingly at the end of his useful naval life, an embittered man, brooding and angry from a court-martial verdict. Then the offshore island of Santu is threatened with invasion from the Chinese mainland.

There were 3 mentions of time. Two in chapter 3 at min 11 "We arrived here just after the war." and 21 " 14 years of hard work..." Then Rolf in chapter 5 reminiscing about his time (past tense) in Korea. It could be as late as 1959. The Devil is in the details. Hopefully, Chow gets what he desires and deserves for his loyalty to Rolf.

Story
Was America founded on the auction block in Jamestown in 1619 or aboard the Mayflower in 1620? The controversy erupted in August 2019 when the New York Times announced its 1619 Project. The Times set to transform history by asserting that all the laws, material gains, and cultural achievements of Americans are rooted in the exploitation of African Americans. Historians have pushed back, saying that the 1619 Project conjures a false narrative out of racial grievance.

Story
Sinai to Zion is an exciting study of how the Bible uses the Exodus story as the basis for its vision concerning the glorious and triumphant return of Jesus the Messiah. For the first time, this book presents a thorough examination of many often overlooked, yet critically important Old Testament texts that the Old Testament prophets and the New Testament authors looked to as describing the return of Jesus.

Story
The impact of The Late Great Planet Earth cannot be overstated. This blockbuster offered Christians and non-Christians of the 1970s a wake-up call to events to come, and some already unfolding, that herald the return of Jesus Christ. The years since have confirmed Lindsey's insights into what biblical prophecy says about the times we live in: the rebirth of Israel, the threat of war in the Middle East, an increase in natural catastrophes, the revival of Satanism and witchcraft.

I was a teen in high school when this was written. Disparaging comments by my betters left me to discount this man and his work as a SENSATIONALIST, he's just trying to make a buck peddling his snake oil.
After many decades of reading the WORD primarily and being feed that WORD rightly divided. A man I've come to respect and love said of Hal Lindsey, "He was my teacher."
I quickly put aside my long held, misguided notion that Hal isn't worth listening to. How WRONG I had been. A signed copy of this work will be added to my library and read again.

The ending is somber. As one might expect, under the circumstances. We all want things to work out well, but as Reacher's mother might have said and in a manner did say, se la vie or "c'est la vie". As per her request, did Jack, do the "RIGHT" thing? Enough said, otherwise I risk spoiling it.
