Story
Ava had come to earth to bring her brother back to Ossory, something he had avoided the past few years. The planet Ossory had a deal with Earth that they could visit and help with failing infrastructure in their world and some Ossorian’s had found themselves fond of the new world and opted to stay longer than others. Ava was not one of those, when she had been here two years ago on her first visit, she found it to be mind-numbingly boring and humans to be not only weak but quite unbearable. She had found nothing on Earth inviting what so ever, their sire had fallen ill, and their mother ...

Story
Falling stars are supposed to be a lucky sign, but not for Austen. Her new job as a secretary in an international games company isn't off to a good start. Her first assignment - decorating the Christmas tree in the lobby - results in a trip to the ER after Dee, the company's second-in-command, gets hit by the star-shaped tree topper. Dee blames her instant attraction to Austen on her head wound, not the magic of the falling star. She's determined not to act on it, especially since Austen has no idea that Dee is practically her boss.

the story was fine actually I think it was good but the awkward cadence of the performance kept breaking into the story. when I am reading or listening I get drawn into the story until I put it down or its over. I kept breaking out of the story because it sounded wrong. which was ashame because each time it happened it weakened the imersion into the story
