For the end of a series this book was a little bit of a let down. there where several story lines that where rushed and left me wanting more. I'll miss this series it was a good one, it could have ended better

One of the problems with multiple plot lines that they start getting to complex for a 800 page book. this is starting to happen In David Weber's "Hell's Foundations Quiver" the number of different plot lines (At least 7 by my count) are spinning off quickly to demand their own books. This causes the overall tempo of this book to slow down to a crawl. I will give Mr Weber the benefit of the doubt and take this book as a transitional book in the over all story line. I will wait for the next book in the series, to prove me right or wrong.

I am very sorry but it's time for Dr. Crew to go, wherever fictional characters go after they have outlived their useful existences. But with is novel Gideon has jumped the shark or in this cas the brain eating psycho alien tree thing. Sorry I just gave away the entire plot. The book contains predictable action, very predictable character interaction . Not even the commendable narration of Mr. Collinscould save this book.

This is a disappointing book. story line week. Ms. Walton kills off the only interesting character from the first book. Narration is good. but could not save this story

This series has not "Jumped the Shark" yet. But; it is close. so far in this series our intrepid protagonist has killed the big bad BEM's, made friends with Cats and Chickens, has had a FTL raise in Rank from Ensign to full Admiral in 6 years, and now faces the scariest thing in the Known universe... "Parenthood"

Ms. Pearlman's narration is spot on and the story lines flows quit nicely.

The grand duchess is no longer a two dimensional character . With is book Grand Duchess Vickie story line stands alone and not just a spin-off from Mr. Shepherd's Kris Longknife series. Well Narrated by Ms. Pearlman who adds depth and feeling to the main characters. looking forward to the next book in the series.

I had great expectations for this last book in the Temeraire series. the book before this Blood of Tyrants:" was the best in the series. The plot of this book is disjointed and leaves too many lose ends. and after all his adventures our noble dragon hero ends up an MP? what a bloody let down.

Mr Vance's narration is excellent as always, but, could not save the book.

Oh well that's life, The series primmest is still a good one. and i still remain a fan of the series

I normally enjoy Mr. Nuttlall works. This book Falls very short of his normal offerings. The characters are awfully one-dimensional. Not even Mr. Rummel's narration can save this very weak story with very predictable plot twist.
