From adolescent snogging to apartment shares, relationships, career crises, and children, Vince and Joy is the unforgettable story of two lives lived separately but forever entwined. Back in the '80s, teenagers Vince and Joy met, fell desperately in love, parted, and never quite said goodbye. Story
We are in a small room with the vampire, face to face, as he speaks--as he pours out the hypnotic, shocking, moving, and erotically charged confessions of his first two hundred years as one of the living dead. . . He speaks quietly, plainly, even gently . . . carrying us back to the night when he departed human existence as heir--young, romantic, cultivated--to a great Louisiana plantation, and was inducted by the radiant and sinister Lestat into the other, the "endless," life....

The voice for Luis was god awful. He sounded like an old Jew that smoke five packs of cigarettes his whole life. The girl should’ve had a female do her part. And you forgot and future books that you had said the stats eyes were great where in the future books there Violette. There were some ramblings that you could kind of skip through.

Want more Mayfair/Lestat/Telemasca

I’m totally enthralled with the Mayfair stories and I hate to be at the end of them. I am so sad there aren’t any future bucks. The recording itself was very flawed. It kept stopping and it was hard to get playing again. The most egregious thing about this book is that there was no woman doing the female voices. Jasmine was bad enough. Sure she could have an accent in a little bit of a rough voice but it was so against her parents and her personality. But Rowan oh my God you totally ruined Rowan! She sounded like an 80 year old woman who smoked five packs of cigarettes a day. That wasn’t our Rowan. A deep salary voice doesn’t mean that it sounds like hell! So I say this recording needs to be redone for all of its flaws

You can’t really buy into the Fiction of it
Reviewed: 05-02-22
This whole series was full of so many flaws. First of all not being put all in one book the silly hour and a half segments. But starting back at the summer solstice party hundreds of witches and not have them seem to know any spells to stop the attack??? In fact they never even discussed spell witches spells and teaching Catherine how to use them. Again at the funeral it’s ridiculous having witches there that couldn’t do anything. And then the death of cars and Lisa there is no reason the cops could not been called them. The cops weren’t there they didn’t know anything about the storm cloud and the lightning bolt. I am keeping on reading but it’s just a shame it could’ve been so much better.

I’m totally appalled at the rip off this author is pulling on their audience! Thankfully, this is the only author in all my years listening to audible that has pulled this. For H supposed book there is an hour to a few hours listening time. The whole series probably would make a normal authors one book equaling one credit. It’s shameful to be so greedy and to use your fans in this respect!
