I really enjoyed not being bogged down with science themes or too many sex scenes. wouldn't be a book review if I didn't complain about wanting an update on Ty. Angela was as awesome as ever very nice listen.

What can I say the narrator as always was flawless. usually I have to follow along in my kindle copy. When Angela reads it's fantastic. The story was well done the reading of it even better. Glad this ended up in my recommendation column.

Drew Beckett’s life is a well-curated plan. Small-town to successful Assistant U.S. Attorney, assigned to an above-the-fold case that could eliminate a notorious crime family and put her firmly in line for her ultimate promotion. The last thing she needs is a distraction; like a threat on her life or the seriously lickable dimples on the U.S. Marshal assigned to protect her.

The narrator was on point. The story started off decent enough. I however and this is just my opinion I would have liked Meyers to win I really liked her character. The main ones kinda didn't like em. As weird as it sounds the book was worth it.

I really liked the story line. The conversations had within were great. The narration was a bust. I think when there is that much dialogue in a book the narrator needs to be a little more clear on who is speaking. I really liked the characters.

There were three ppl I liked in this book. Those would be the the little family unit. The main characters were sad and annoying. If you like weak ppl that make bad decision after bad decision then by all means this is the book for you. Narration was good but even that couldn't save this. I tried I did but this was just terrible. the lack of a backbone was just too much. If I believed in returns this would be my first.

I need more of what happened after. This was a good fun listen. Angela did an excellent job. Four different female voices and I was able to listen while driving and knew exactly who was talking. I needed more from the ending. Seriously a small extension something. Anything?
