Meh. Narrorators absolutely killed it. Story was boring and interactions were mostly cringe unless Harold was involved.

some people may be bored by the slow start but I thought it built nicely and made sense as the mc struggled to learn the rules. he made mistakes and overcame them in a very realistic manner.

Basic spicy romance. All fantasy is just color

As the title says. Its a basic slice of life spicy romance. The only fantasy is just painting the girls as goblins and the rich as fairies but thats it. Nothing else even remotely fantasy all thru book 1 and part way into book 2. I tried but its just not fantasy enough for me.

this is NOT a fun epic fantasy adventure of a guy flying on a griffin and waging heroic combat. this is Sims city meets civilization and the griffons are the taxi service. honestly it might get better but I couldn't stay interested long enough to finish book1
