This book!!! Tempting is a great listen that blends romance, self-discovery, and family. Kenzie and Nixon quickly became a favorite couple of mine, and I couldn’t help but smile and laugh at the witty group chats and banter among their siblings and cousins. Well worth a credit!

Growly Row & Quirky Cal

I loved Cal and Row's banter. Their interactions are a blend of sharp wit and raw vulnerability. As they navigate their demons and confront their pasts, I found myself rooting for them and their necessary individual growth so they could be together.

And oh, the 90s nostalgia! The music references woven into the story evoke such nostalgia.

WOW! Sleep Tight takes you on a dark and twisted journey involving every mother’s worst nightmare. I didn't want to stop listening and finished in a day!

So many twists!

I couldn’t stop listening! This book starts with a bang and continues with so many twists in the latest murder case plus more developments in the ongoing police department scandal. There’s never a dull moment when Sam & Nick are involved.

Outstanding!

I loved Falling and had very high expectations for this one. Drowning didn’t disappoint! This fast paced thriller is full of suspense and tension. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I’m glad I set aside some time today because Drowning is every bit the drop everything to listen book that I had hoped it would be.

Loved This Sweet & Quirky Couple

Lauren Rowe is back with the book that we never thought we would get! Henn and Hannah have long been fan favorites as side characters and a critical part of a wonderful found family. I loved finally hearing the full journey of this sweet and quirky couple! (Note, this book is a standalone that can easily be read without reading any of the previous books.)

While Henn and Hannah fall very fast, it feels natural like two puzzle pieces fitting together. However, they must face some challenges and deal with their baggage before they can have a chance at forever. Henn and Hannah’s story focuses on finding the one that you are meant to be with and the important role of communication and trust in a relationship.

I already know this book is one that I will listen to over and over again. It is sweet, funny, and entertaining, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments mixed with the steam that you expect from this author.

Cruel Kiss blew me away!

Wow!!! This prequel novella is a fun, steamy read detailing the secret vacation fling between friends Gavin and Whitley.

I didn’t think I could get more excited about Cruel King, but that’s exactly what this prequel did. Not only did we get all of the flirty, sexiness that is Gavin and Whitley, but we also got dropped back into the Cruel world, which I love so much.

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are incredible together as Gavin and Whitley. They brought all the heat that is this couple!

I can’t wait for the rest of Gavin and Whitley’s story!

Twisted & Intense

You always remember your first! Donovan Kincaid was my first alphahole back in 2017 and remains one of my book boyfriend standard bearers. While I was looking forward to listening to this audiobook and revisiting one of my favorite book worlds again, I wondered if this duet would have the same type of impact on me. Well, it blew me away once again!

The duet explores Sabrina and Donovan's time together in college, including some life-changing events, and then fast forwards to ten years later when Sabrina joins Donovan's firm. Narrator Elena Wolfe conveys all of Sabrina's past and present indecision and confusion in dealing with Machiavellian puppetmaster Donovan. Despite his overprotectiveness and obsession with her, Donovan makes Sabrina feel seen, desired, and protected as no one else can. I loved the battle to determine whether Donovan was Sabrina's hero or villain.

This duet represents Sabrina's perspective. I can't wait to dive into Kincaid and relive their twisted, intense, drama-filled journey through Donovan's eyes!

“I'm a goner for my wife”

I LOVED everything about this marriage of convenience hockey romance. Rebecca Jenshak described Declan as next-level swoon, and she more than delivered on that! Declan is the book boyfriend gold standard. He is considerate, generous (in every way possible 😉), lives to make Jade smile & laugh, and is totally in love with his fake wife. Plus, Jade and Declan together are 🔥🔥🔥!

Wild Ever After is my first 5-star listen of the year! Narrators CJ Bloom and Connor Crais are the perfect duo for this couple. They elevate this incredible story by bringing these characters to life. CJ Bloom shows us all sides of Jade -- her determination, stubbornness, guardedness, independence, and inner beauty. Connor Crais nails Declan’s quiet, broody, serious nature and conveys his fears about what’s next after hockey, past regrets with his family, and how much he wants his wife but will honor her desire to be just friends.

I also enjoyed catching up with the other couples from the previous books of this series. The found family in these books is one of my favorite aspects of this series.

If you enjoy a white knight who supports an independent lady in distress who can save herself with a bit of help and falls in love with her first, Wild Ever After is for you!

Finally the Right Time for Ash & Amelia!

The playing field has never been level for Ash & Amelia. It's always been a case of the right guy but at the wrong time. Is this finally their shot at forever together?

After reading Hold the Forevers, I wanted happiness for Ash since Lila wasn't the right one for him (yes, I'm firmly on Team Cole). But could Ash ever get over Lila? Could Amelia, the girl that's always been in love with him, be the one to help him move on, or is she destined to be second best?

This story's dual timeline chronicles Ash and Amelia's past and present. Their history is littered with heartbreak, missteps, and bad timing. Despite those things, these two friends have been there for each other and can tell each other the hard truths. Their journey isn't easy, but fate brings these two together when they are both emotionally ready to be together forever. I really enjoyed this angsty second chance at love.
