About this listen

Both books in the Dirty Duet included in one bundle.

From New York Times best-selling author Laurelin Paige, discover a whole new world filled with sex, love, power, romance, and dirty, filthy rich men.

Book one, Dirty Filthy Rich Men

When I met Donovan Kincaid, I knew he was rich. I didn’t know he was filthy. Truth be told, I was only trying to get his best friend to notice me.

I knew poor scholarship girls like me didn't stand a chance against guys like Weston King and Donovan Kincaid, but I was in love with his world, their world, of parties and sex and power. I knew what I wanted - I knew who I wanted - until one night, their world tried to bite me back and Donovan saved me. He saved me, and then Weston finally noticed me, and I finally learned what it was to be in their world.

And then what it was like to lose it.

Ten years later, I’ve found my way back. Back to their world. Back to him.

This time, I’m ready. I've been down this road before, and I know all the dirty, filthy ways Donovan will try and wreck me.

But it’s hard to resist. Especially when I know how much I’ll like it.

Book two, Dirty Filthy Rich Love

I've discovered Donovan Kincaid's secret.

It's dirty and filthy and rich - as dirty and filthy and rich as he is - and it haunts me as much as he ever did.

Even after knowing what I know now, I still want to talk to him, to touch him. But there's an ocean between us, and I'm not sure it can be crossed with something as easy as a phone call or a plane ride.

Yet I'm willing to try.

He doesn't know this yet, but this time I'm the one with the power. And maybe - just maybe - if the air were cleared and all our secrets bared, there could still be a chance for us.

And this dirty, filthy thing between us might end up being love after all.

Intoxicating and Seductive!

This is an intoxicating and seductive story that pulled me in to a world of power, control and delicious steamy hot sex, and I loved every minute of it. Sabrina crosses path's with Donovan, and Weston while attending Harvard. Sabrina is attracted to both men, but a tragic event causes her to leave suddenly, unable to return. She could never have guessed how her brief interactions would set in motion many of the furtive events over the next ten years. Now Sabrina is brought back to NY and into the the high stakes business world that Weston and Donovan inhabit. Sabrina is stronger, smarter and knows what she wants, but she also has a darker side she tries to hide. She has always wondered if she and Weston had a connection and now she has a chance to find out. She wasn't counting on Donovan being there as well. Donovan is sexy, dark, and tortured, and calls to her in a way no one, including Weston, ever has. They can't stay away from each other despite how hard they try, because their broken pieces fit so perfectly together. Donovan is the first man who allowed her to be comfortable with her sexual desires that have tortured her for years. He has always seen into her nightmares, and knows how to turn them around. Their sex scenes are raw and emotional and may not be for everyone, but it is a way to face their demons on the road to redemption. At first Donovan would reel her in, make her want him, only to put up his walls and turn cold time and time again. But now Sabrina finds that Donovan may need her just as much as she needs him, and finds out who might really be saving who. It is easy to be frustrated with Donovan at times. Yet Ms. Paige expertly reveals glimpses of what is under all the pain and guilt he carries. She has created such interesting and multifaceted characters in an intriguing tale of manipulation, deception, hunger, and passion. The twists and turns in this story kept me spellbound, trying to guess what will happen next. Oh and the epilogue was so perfect and so Donovan! Narrator, Elena Wolfe's brilliant delivery gripped my imagination and compelled me to feel everything these characters think and experience. She embodied these characters perfectly making my heart race from beginning to end. This is storytelling at it's absolute finest and I loved every moment of this beautiful, raw, passionate, poignant and unforgettable, love story! I'm looking forward to listening to more about this dirty, filthy, rich world

Donovan Kincaid

This is one of my favorite stories from Lauralin Paige and Donovan has been one of my top 3 book boyfriends for years. This story is HOT and the writing is great. Trigger warning: the FMC experiences SA. I can't say enough good things about this book. If you love spicy romance and things that make you go hmm then this is for you. I enjoy Elana Wolfe's narration and thought she was great. I loved experiencing this story through audiobook.

Donovan and Sabrina are hot!

Donovan and Sabrina are an unexpected mix, and they certainly bring a lot of steam to their story!

The first book starts with Sabrina starting college with a crush on Weston, who happens to be friends with Donovan. However, there's just something about Donovan that called to her, and maybe it's the depraved and dirty part of him that seems to match Sabrina too.

While the first book gives you some insight into how much Donovan wanted Sabrina, the second one gives you even more info into the extent to which he involved himself in her life, even when he wasn't physically there. Donovan is obsessed with Sabrina, and even though time separates them, he is all about bringing her back into the fold and into his life. Some people may not agree with what he's done, as he's manipulated Sabrina for a large portion of her adult life. This is definitely the focus of the story, and Sabrina has to decide whether she can trust in Donovan and believe in the love he has for her, or if this is something that she even wants. Lots of steam, secrets, and more obsession in this book between our two characters.

Elena Wolfe is a new to me narrator, but I loved how she brought Sabrina to life. It made the audio easy to listen to and very enjoyable.

Great storyline

I was pulled into this story and couldn’t stop until I heard the whole set.
This was my first read by Laurelin Paige and I am addicted!! I love how she has highs and lows in the book!!! That made it very exciting.
Starting the next series, “Dirty Sweet”.

Twisted and filthy

This is a raw, twisted and filthy love story. Donovan is controlling, sexy rich and filthy but he’s the brooding type and disconnected. Sabrina is independent, brilliant and hot but she’s drawn to Donovan’s filthy love. Their relationship is quite complicated. Can pure love be born from this filthy relationship?

I am now owned by Donovan Kincaid 😍😍

I’m blown away. Literally blown away. The absolute rollercoaster of emotions that I felt during the entirety of this duet.. insane. Such highs and lows and through all of it, I was always still rooting for Donovan and Sabrina. My heart was so broken at different times for both characters, and the trauma that they both had to go through at different times in their lives. I won’t be forgetting this duet anytime soon. I won’t be forgetting Donovan Kincaid anytime soon. This man… is the epitome of J/P. 😍

I don’t usually go for books with single narration, but Elena Wolfe did such a fantastic job of bringing this duet to life. I’m now a fan of hers and will definitely be listening to more audiobooks narrated by her.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEE, GIVE THIS DUET A SHOT AS IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

Check your triggers, as always. 🥰

Enjoyed it

I really enjoyed listening to The Dirty Duet. What I really enjoyed was that Laurelin Paige didn’t make a specific fantasy in the story seem ugly and wrong. Most people don't understand that fantasy and Laurelin showed an in-depth thought process behind it and the feeling of taking back the power. The storyline was good and finding out some twists was pretty interesting as it was not something I expected.

I feel like the narrator was decent as her voice for the males was kind of hard for me to distinguish when the FMC or another female character was speaking.

What in the…?!

The story is easy to get into because the writing is great. But I just need this author to write women that are confident and not dumb. I guess that’s why it’s fiction, but I struggled to connect with a female EXECUTIVE that was THIS silly and insecure…or someone that would really be OK with who Donovan is at his core.

Starts strong

First off, Elena Wolfe is one of my favorite narrators to listen to, especially when it’s one POV and there is no dual or duet option. She is a master at differing inflections and she makes it so easy to forget she is just one person. Her voice is beautiful and I could listen to her for hours (which is perfect when listening to this duet as it’s over 17 hours).
I read this duet several years ago but this is the first time listening to either book on audio. Book one of this duet is absolute fire. It’s super spicy and the angst is strong. It starts off with a love triangle vibe but quickly switches gears when it becomes obvious who Sabrina truly wants. Donovan is such a broody MMC and tries hard to stay away but the chemistry between these two is off the charts and easy to feel through the entire first book. I would have easily given this 5 stars across the board for book one alone.
The second book had an entire different feel to it. It felt a little like a long epilogue and was slightly drawn out. I found myself drifting mentally during the last half. I didn’t lose interest totally but would have preferred more of the angst and drama from the first book to keep up with the flow of the story.
Overall, it was a good listen and I would recommend it to fans who like their spicy scenes on the darker side.

Obsession and possession

Holy Moly! I don't even know where to start with this one. Correction: I don't know where to start without spoilers. This duet is a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Seriously, a rollercoaster ride, including all those ups and downs and twists and turns that make your stomach flip flop. I read a lot, and I read several genres, and I've gotten pretty good at predicting the next move... Until The Dirty Duet. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Laurelin Paige totally messed with my mind - and I loved it! As shocking as parts of this journey are (and it is most definitely a journey), as dark as some things are, and as many times as I wanted to punch Donovan Kincaid right in the kisser, I could not hit pause on this one. I couldn't stop listening. Speaking of Donovan, I'm not sure whether the number of times I loved him outweighs the number of times I hated him or not, but I'd guess that it's pretty close either way. That's as close as I'm getting to giving anything away because this is a journey you need to take without details.
I had the pleasure of listening to The Dirty Duet, and Elena Wolfe gives a superb performance. She captured the many emotions perfectly, and I can't imagine anyone else as Sabrina. Oh, and I can't forget Sebastian York, who makes an appearance or two. His sexy voice fits Donovan to a T.
There are some trigger warnings associated with this book, so check those before diving in. That said, if the triggers aren't a problem, you really need to experience this story. It's a story of obsession, protection, attraction, love, hate, and even a bit of hope. As dark as it gets, there's still hope.
