I just want a quiet life on a beach with my mates to keep me busy. Is that too much to ask? Clearly, the answer to that question is yes. Maybe it was payback for the whole punching death in the face thing. Whatever the reason, Fate enjoyed creating chaos in my life.

can I please have the next one! I have read and re-read / listen to this series enough time to not only earn an Audibles badge but become slightly obsessed with the characters. So what if the editing is a little rough when you've gone over it that many times, but something about it draws out the emotional feelings that makes you ride along knowing that every thing might work... ish? or go up in flames :] what ever the case may be, I can't wait for the next one. This was of course way to short (you knew you it when you published it) and I adore almost all of your books!

this is an amazing book series... I absolutely loved it even though I don't enjoy short stories. from the beginning I knew where I was and I didn't get a lot of fillers to get to where we were going. absolutely no wasted space. bravo! usually you get a chapter or 2 half assed explaining what previously occurred (but not with the same high lights I picked up on)... however totally understandable 😀

the story was good, I can't get past the narrator. this is the first set I was unable to finish. I got through the first book hoping it got better with practice in the second story... nope. the narrative was given so-so for the female main character but all the males were just monotone or they said reasonable things but were made sound like joke, the words didn't match the tone and I just couldn't get past it.
