These aren't the same gods & demi-gods we studied in middle school Mythology! If you aren't entertained by bawdy humor, these books aren't for you. So much silliness - we humans could learn a thing or two about not taking ourselves so seriously. :)

If you like off the wall, head shaking, non-PC humor, then you might really enjoy this set of books. I think I liked the last book the best because I could picture so much of it actually happening and I was laughing so hard. I have now listened to all the Robyn Peterman books available in the audible escape section and have really enjoyed most of them. I know I will be checking periodically to see if any more become available at a later date. Enjoy.

Well defined characters to the point of distraction. I caution you about driving and listening to this book you may start laughing and not be able to see where you’re going, as I did. this series is a must if you need a lift. I will warn you the language can be offending, but I think that’s what makes it funny. The story is well laid out and very enjoyable. I love Robyn Peterman. She always makes me happy.

this is an amazing book series... I absolutely loved it even though I don't enjoy short stories. from the beginning I knew where I was and I didn't get a lot of fillers to get to where we were going. absolutely no wasted space. bravo! usually you get a chapter or 2 half assed explaining what previously occurred (but not with the same high lights I picked up on)... however totally understandable 😀

Petunia was kidnapped by the gnomes and when free, perhaps her star will align.

Okay, so I listened to the first book in the second collection which was hilarious, just like the first series, but somehow it fell apart at the second book. The second book was kind of cute, but didn’t hold my attention well, and the third book...let’s just say that calling it ‘shite’ is a compliment. It was bad. No story and a weird sounding narrator. However it does explain why any relatives of Poseidon’s are so completely lacking in the mental department. My recommendation, pick up the fourth and maybe the fifth in the series, but avoid book six at all costs.
