Story
William Barr’s first tenure as attorney general under President George H.W. Bush was largely the result of chance, while his second tenure under President Donald Trump a deliberate and difficult choice. In this candid memoir, Barr takes listeners behind the scenes during seminal moments of the 1990s, from the LA riots to Pan Am 103 and Iran Contra. Thirty years later, Barr faced an unrelenting barrage of issues, such as Russiagate, the COVID outbreak, civil unrest, the impeachments, and the 2020 election fallout.

Story
It took nearly two millennia for the enemies of the Catholic Church to realize they could not successfully attack the Church from the outside. Indeed, countless nemeses from Nero to Napoleon succeeded only in creating sympathy and martyrs for our Catholic Faith. That all changed in the mid-19th century, when clandestine societies populated by Modernists and Marxists hatched a plan to subvert the Catholic Church from within. Their goal: to change Her doctrine, Her liturgy, and Her mission.

Unbelievably believable. Bad men in our church?
Reviewed: 01-16-21
I could not put the book down. From pure, sweet children talking to Mary. To hiding what Mary told the children. Then on to the bad men who we thought were devine leaders turn out to be worse men than us regular sinners. God help your church, please. I did not sleep last night. I had to read it all at one sitting, and had to go to church this morning to stop feeling defeated by our ",spiritual" leaders in the Vatican. Save us Lord, protect us from these devil's.
This is a fantastic read.

What an eye-opener about the shameful culture that is the life of a Washington dweller.
This is a book for both conservatives and liberals. not so much for the extremes of either persuasion.

Story
D’Souza explains that the reason Obama appears to be working to destroy America from within is found, as Obama himself admits, in The Dreams of My Father: a deeply hostile anticolonialism. Instilled in him by his father, this worldview has led President Obama to resent America and everything we stand for. D’Souza masterfully shows how Obama is working to weaken and punish America here and abroad.

Sean Runnette does a superb reading, with steady emotion and emphasis. Five stars to him

I did it cold turkey in 1987 and remain sober since then. It was rough, and how I would have appreciated this audiobook. The author, Mishka, is sincere, wants to help, and is honest about the trip to no longer drink alcohol. Mishka does a great job of portraying what his journey was like. I found myself in his story, without the other addictive stuff. I encourage everyone yearning for a fresh start to listen to this audiobook. This audiotape is a great place to start. Go for it.

Story
The Battle of Waterloo has become synonymous with the word defeat, but who lost, and why was it important? In 1815, Napoleon Bonaparte left the island of Elba and, in a space of 100 days, took power and challenged the entire world to meet him on his terms. When that failed, he offered them a fight, one that would end at Waterloo, and left repercussions which can still be felt, even now, centuries later.
