Story
Willy and Marianne’s farmhouse in Maine has acres of meadow and fresh air, and a lonesome bridle path in the forest along which Willy daydreams and ambles. When he’s loaned a decrepit old baby stroller to cart his groceries home, the rickety squeak of the wheels comforts him. So do the sweet coos of a baby Willy knows can’t be real. Can it? In this twisted thicket, wishes come true—with a price.

A group of vigilantes known only as ‘The Five' are targeting the worst of society – rapists, murderers and thieves – and they use their unlimited resources to offset the damage done by those who they've killed, donating untraceable Bitcoin to charities and victims via the Dark Web. Story
Being 40 is supposed to be freaking fabulous, not fatal. Taking on a daunting new job minus the description isn’t the smartest move I’ve ever made, even if it was to save a friend. Hopefully, it doesn’t turn out to be the stupidest...or deadliest. Why can’t things stay the way they were? I love my old job. Supergluing ghosts back together and solving their issues is its own reward. Not to mention, I’m seriously good at it. Although, I must say, I’m ridiculously excited for the new Death Counselor’s arrival in nine months....

😣😣😣Don’t listen to them all together
Reviewed: 02-07-23
When listening back to back, the story flow and word usage is terrible. I heard the phrase “stomach roiled/roiling” at least 15 times across 4 books. Robyn needs a thesaurus. The description of ‘the cold’ Daisy feels when mind diving is word for word every single time. It’s terribly repetitive and someone needs to help Robyn find different phrases. 😒😒

Story
Thirty-nine was a fantastic year. I was married to the man I loved. I had a body that worked without creaking. My grandma, who raised me, was still healthy, and life was pretty damned good. But as they say, all good things come to an end. One year later, I’m a widow. My joints are starting to ache. Gram is in the nursing home, and dead people think my home is some kind of supernatural bed-and-breakfast. Gluing body parts onto semi-transparent people has become a side job - deceased people I’m not even sure are actually there.

Suspend common sense

This main character has got to be the most assuming, oblivious, chick in literature! You want to root for her and then she makes another asinine assumption with no proof and blows her own life up. God, I hope she gets better as the story goes!! I want to love this!! She often has me yelling in disbelief. Get it together, Daisy!! 🙄🙄 Ask questions, ma’am!!
