I 80 in Northern Nevada sure gets to witness a lot of my tears and smiles. I love this book and I love Kristen Hannah!

Meredith and Nina Whitson are as different as sisters can be. One stayed at home to raise her children and manage the family apple orchard; the other followed a dream and traveled the world to become a famous photojournalist. But when their beloved father falls ill, Meredith and Nina find themselves together again, standing alongside their cold, disapproving mother, Anya, who even now, offers no comfort to her daughters.

Story
When Kitty Karr Tate, a White icon of the silver screen, dies and bequeaths her multimillion-dollar estate to the St. John sisters, three young, wealthy Black women, it prompts questions. Lots of questions. A celebrity in her own right, Elise St. John would rather focus on sorting out Kitty’s affairs than deal with the press. But what she discovers in one of Kitty’s journals rocks her world harder than any other brewing scandal could—and between a cheating fiancé and the fallout from a controversial social media post, there are plenty.

Grateful to you Matty
Reviewed: 01-08-23
This is not really a review, it’s a “I’m SO grateful to you” note to Matthew Perry. My brother Matthew died three days after he turned 53 from alcoholism, and as you said in your book one of the two most dangerous drugs to get off. Though I never turned my back in him I’ve always wished I had tried harder for him, done more. He always told me he loved drinking and smoking, and that he never wanted to quit. He is with God, I know this. That was a sidebar story, my reason for listening to your book was because of the struggles of my 22 year old grandson. Has used all drugs, though benzo’s and smoking heroine were his choices. This week will be the anniversary of his first rehabs..2 years ago jail caused his forced sobriety…1 year ago a court program is keeping him accountable…but truly-he is keeping himself sober, accountable, free of Xan and H. I pray every day God watches over him and keeps him alive. Thank you for your book, For Sharing your life with us (yes HUGE Friends fan too) I’ve had lots of tears listening to it and smiles. Proud is how you truly should feel:). Thank you.
