Jesus tap dancing christ this series has bde, not in a good way. I feel like there could've been a more economical way to tell this story.

best person to read this book. I would recommend this to both new and old readers of Twain's work.

another book I wouldn't have gotten if not for audibles monthly service. short, and sweet. story felt rushed and forced for the time length it had. definitely had potential though.

wouldn't have gotten this without the audible monthly service. felt like listening to my grandpa ramble on about the war during most of this.

story arc exists, kind of. absolutely no character development. I can't say I would've picked this up if it were free with subscription.

a family story that remained interesting, but remained unrequired for any listener. I don't think I would've listened to it if it came free on the monthly audible plan.

possibly the best audio book I had the opportunity to listen to in 2019. It honestly felt like listening to a long audio documentary. I honestly wish NPR was more like this. I wish a lot of things were like this. If you haven't listened to this one, I'd thoroughly recommend it.

I went in with low expectations and came out with a bit more motivation with my life direction. Even if you're not disabled it still has quite a few lessons I think are valuable. good listen.
