This book contains a pretty graphic scene about sexual assault. It’s also very in the very beginning of the book. I couldn’t finish it after listening to that part. Fiction or not that effects people. I know it was to prove a point but one never knows what that will do to someone. Just something to consider if you ever read this review Bonnie.

I have a lot of questions! I can see where this plot would have gone right. I know JE doesn’t like to plot out her books. As it stands, I don’t understand how the publishers let this run. The last hour should have been “The Mark” all along. I truly felt like the plot was all over the place. Important details were ignored. It feels like this should be a book earlier in the series. I wonder what contract issues came up to lose not one but two potential coauthors?
I am very scared for the last installment of this series. However, I’m glad I’m not alone in my opinions.
