Story
On a hot August night, Lt. Eve Dallas and her husband, Roarke, speed through the streets of Manhattan to the Down and Dirty club, where a joyful, boisterous pre-wedding girls’ night out has turned into a murder scene. One of the brides lies in a pool of blood, garroted in a private room where she was preparing a surprise for her fiancée—two scrimped and saved-for tickets to Hawaii. Despite the dozens of people present, useful witnesses are hard to come by. It all brings back some bad memories for Eve.

Worst one ever
Reviewed: 10-10-24
My wife and I have read every single in death book that she has authored ( we have read 58 so far)and this is the worst. It is definitely not worth a credit and not worth purchasing. I’m sorry for this poor review but I suspect she might’ve put her name on the book, but someone else wrote this piece . She did not include many of her characters from past books other than her husband and partner and the plot was very weak. I will be contacting Audible and seeking a credit to my account.

The womans voice is like nails on chalk board . to say we struggled to get through it would be an under statement. If I knew the author i would tell him to retract this book for the time being and given another female voice that is not so wineie and mone tone. Worse ever-- if i were allowed to give "0" or less then"0"stars the performance would be negative 10 stars. sorry call it like i see it.

this author and his books both Mickey and Myron are best ever to listen to especially when you have a long 8 to 9 hour drive. Time goes by in seconds and you really never want to stop the car. I wish I could find another author who can hold my interest this long. I do hope he comes out with more Myron bolitar books.
