All the characters have so much melodrama. The books have no more story they are just one cry fest after another.

The MC of this book is one of my favorites of any kind. He is completely overpowered but has the best personality. The way the story comes together is amazing.

I will no longer buy any of your books due to your hypothetical view. How can you sit there and lament capitalism at the same time profiting off it. Why is it that authors need to try to push a narrative in there books when all I want to do is escape into the fantasy world and be entertained.

It just gets old with every fight he almost loses, but in the end, he does something to his core and wins. same as the last few books.

Story
Monsters and beasts roamed the earth and were slain by soldiers and adventurers who were, in turn, killed by stronger threats. Heroes and villains created new epics and were forgotten when their successors appeared. This was the way of the Infinite World. Summoned into this chaotic place, a young boy with no name and no past must learn to survive. Bound to a master who doesn't care whether he lives or dies, he must become stronger. The question is: how?

Story
Eric didn't ask to be a vampire. In fact he didn't even believe in them. Biting your own tongue with your fangs does a lot of convincing. Even so, being a part-time undead isn't as easy as you might think. It can let you hold down a day job, true, but sometimes the night "life" can be more than a little difficult, what with those bloodthirsty urges and predatory instincts kicking in.

This is one of the Best Book Series I have ever to
Reviewed: 05-05-21
I have over 700 books that I have listen to over the past 12 years. I have 9 Months 5 days 9 hours and 10 minutes of total time listening to books. Basically I have a equivalent of a PHD in audible. There are good books out there, there are bad books out there, there are books that I can't stand and have to return due to how bad they are. I wish those books would show up as past returned so I wouldn't re-buy them by mistake, but alas they don't. On to my point, the Nightlord Series is a master piece, it is so well written, thought out and put together. I would recommend this series to everyone. If it feels a little slow just increase the speed of the book to 1.50 and it will flow better.

Story
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.
