Story
Mason Lot is in-house counsel for Poseidon, a major Wall Street firm that serves as a front company for the National Security State. His job pays well and gives him insight into the corrupt shadow government, but it can't help with his problems at home. Mason assumed that the hefty price tag for his daughter’s private school would buy him a pass from the insanity plaguing New York’s public school system. Nevertheless, indoctrinated by propaganda, Wynter wants to transition into being a boy. When Mason refuses to pay for the procedure, Wynter turns to the state for help.

Right out of the gate this grabs you. I’m a huge Mark Goodwin fan and this is quite possibly the best one so far. My only complaint is that I’ll have to wait for the next one to come out. He pushes the boundaries a little with this one but it works. If you’re looking for a book to listen to, get this one. Just be prepared to stay up all night till it’s finished.

Story
This is how the world ends. Not with a bang, but with many nuclear bombs detonated around the planet. It was no longer a topic of conversation around the dinner table as in years past. Nobody was prepared, including the world's governments. Yet the threat was always real, and the devastation was predictable. The damage was incalculable. Millions died at the points of impact. Nuclear winter spread across the globe. A rapidly cooling climate shocked humanity and all living things...to their death.

Bobby akart delivered! Jam packed yet very personal. The characters come to life and action leaves you on the edge of your seat. Performed by ‘The Voice of the Apocalypse’ Kevin Pierce never disappoints. Definitely a must read series.

Just wow! That is all I can say. This book starts a series that is gut wrenching and beautiful. After you finish this series (three books I think) make sure you check out the SHTF series by the same author. It definitely takes a wild turn. There are four books out but I hear there will be a fifth one in that series.

Story
As a prepper, Grayson Rowan was prepared for almost anything...anything other than being totally alone when the sh*t hits the fan. While he sat back and watched the US rattle swords with Korea, play chicken with Russia, and strong-arm China, he felt sure if the lights went out that he and his family would be ready and safe. What he wasn't prepared for was his family not being home if it ever happened. Olivia Rowan is with her sisters, Gabby and Emma, on a girls-only trip to Myrtle Beach. Graysie Rowan, a freshman at university, just wants to go home.

This series had me from this book, book 1. I’ve listened to it a few times through. It also has a series about the girls before the ‘event’. I read this series before I knew that one even existed. It’s called the let go series. The girl in the box is the first one I believe. Definitely all of them are worth reading. If you’re looking for a great series that covers all your favorite post apocalyptic things, this is it. Look no further.

Boyd Craven III is definitely one of my favorite post apocalypse authors. Kevin Pierce is definitely the best narrator (aside from only duke Fontaine). This book is by far my favorite of Craven’s. I just wish it was a series. If you’re looking for a great read.... or listen, this is it. Also check out his many others. You won’t be disappointed. And no, I was not given this for free to do a review. I genuinely love this author and think his works are great. I’m certain you will too.

I’ve read most of Mark Godwin’s series. This is my favorite however, I might say that with each series. Currently listening to it sheltered in place during the Covid-19 crisis. If you’re trying todecide if you should purchase it, do it. You won’t be disappointed. Kevin Pierce is my favorite narrator as well, he does most of what I’ve listened to from Mark Goodwin as well as some other great authors. Just buy it already!

Story
In Gay Girl, Good God, author Jackie Hill Perry shares her own story, offering practical tools that helped her in the process of finding wholeness. Jackie grew up fatherless and experienced gender confusion. She embraced masculinity and homosexuality with every fiber of her being. She knew that Christians had a lot to say about all of the above. But was she supposed to change herself? How was she supposed to stop loving women, when homosexuality felt more natural to her than heterosexuality ever could?

I can’t express how much this book means to me. It encourages, refines, sharpens and excites me. As I’ve battled this for 30 years, this book was conformation. Yet another way God bids to me. Thank you for laying yourself bare and being obedient to Him by writing it.
