Publisher's summary

In the mid-1980s the Snow White Killer terrorized the streets of Nashville, Tennessee. Then suddenly the murders stopped. A letter from the killer to the police stated that his work was done.

Now four more bodies are found, marked with his fatal signature. The residents of Nashville fear a madman has returned, decades later, to finish his sick fairy tale.

Homicide Lieutenant Taylor Jackson believes the killings are the work of a copycat killer who's even more terrifying. For this monster is meticulously honing his craft as he mimics famous serial murders - proving that the past is not to be forgotten.

Happy I found this series....

Would you consider the audio edition of 14: Taylor Jackson Series #2 to be better than the print version?

The audio version is great....it's the only way to listen to a book in my estimation.

What did you like best about this story?

Continuing suspense, great narrator...keeps one on their toes and to keep listening!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I had the time would listen from start to finish, but unfortunately life doesn't allow that.

Any additional comments?

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT series!!

Very likeable characters in a good who done it.

This was a little predictable but you get so invested in the characters you don’t care.

#2 and it's the SH!+!

Oh wow! I've been doing some catch up on this author and I must say she is phenomenal!!

As the plot lays out you get to like Taylor Jackson and her no b.s. attitude. Her family's dynamics on the other hand, yikes! Made me sad for the character. I can't go to deep into this book as I know me, I'll give things away that the reader(s) should listen or read on their own. I want to just blurt exciting things, the sad, the Ugly.
Y'all have read the cover story and maybe the first book, "All the Pretty Girls", it's getting better!
Just ordered Judas Kiss today! Told you I am playing catch up, but for a first timer, this series is not a disappointment.
It's worth the time and money, if it changes, I'll let you know.
Happy Reading!!

14: Taylor Jackson Series #2

I have had this ebook for a long time but listen mostly to books now. So glad I got it, I love JT Ellison, but have not read all her first books, now I must. Relly loved this listen, story and characters. The murders were gruesome and tou were never quite sure who it was. very good ending. The narration was excellent.

Very entertaining!

What made the experience of listening to 14: Taylor Jackson Series #2 the most enjoyable?

I liked the twist and turns of the story. The author gives you just enough to try to figure out what is going on but always adds a twist that surprises you.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Lincoln. He is the quiet character, but has a personality you can't help but like and he is one of the smaller characters so I get excited when he is in a part being read.

What does Joyce Bean bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Perhaps she brings a sensce of realness to the characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laugh a lot through J.T. Ellison's books they are very witty.

This is a soap opera

This audio is more of a soap opera than a mystery. The characters and plot are shallow. The main character is rather self absorbed and somewhat of a brat, though everyone seems to adore her anyway. Her significant other comes across as Superman or Batman or some other Superhero. I can't quite get a grasp of what the other characters are all about other than poor supporting roles. If you enjoy "Lite" mystery and soap operas, give the audio a try, you might like it. If you prefer legitimate mysteries you might want to pass.

Mediocre at best

Sorry, but I really had trouble fighting my way through the whole thing. The timeline was weird and didn't make much sense, in that often too much happened in too little time to be realistic.

There was a horrible error made about 1/3 of the way through the book. It was so stupid and so unforgivable that it simply kept preying on my mind.

Somewhere about 2/3 of the way through the book, it dawned on me that much of the driving essence for many characters was right out of "The Girl Who..." (Steig Larrsen). That did me in.

BTW, the performer was OK, not great. Her "Southern" accent varied from Tennessee, to Southern Virginia, to Texas. Didn't make much sense.

I've enjoyed other of the series, but, that probably killed it, for me.

Boring. No suspence. Nada...

What disappointed you about 14: Taylor Jackson Series #2?

Everything. J.T. should write biographies instead of "mysteries".

What do you think your next listen will be?

The latest of Preston & Child.

Would you be willing to try another one of Joyce Bean’s performances?

Joyce Bean was not the problem, she is just the narrator.

Any additional comments?

J.T. Ellison is on my black-list.
