Enjoyed this light-hearted murder romp. The first in the 3:00AM series has me wanting the next. Nick Pirog writes some very entertaining tales. Hope kitty Lassie and his own dog are continuing characters. If you need a break from the heavy mystery/ crime stories but still want a little of both with some humor Nick is it. Great narration. I bought the whole series due to enjoying this one. Loved it all. Only thing, BIG disappointment, we are left kind of hanging...more to come but none has. Wish he had continued with more.

What a surprise! I never would have bought this book on audio because of the length but now that I heard it I would absolutely chip in a credit for the privilege. Great story line. I loved the interaction between the main character and his cat. Funny, light, great twists, great characters. Really loved this audio.

This story sucked me in from the first few moments. Within the few words of the condition explained, you can’t help but imagine your own life. And, realize the incredible impact the condition would have. Exceptional storytelling and character development. But the best part, I didn’t guess the ending. And that is so rare.... this was wonderful!

I happened upon Nick Pirog’s books by accident & so happy that I did! The 3am series is intelligent, entertaining, funny & the plot is just great! What WOULD happen if you had only 1 hour of wakefulness every day of your life? Besides the physical toll that takes on a human what about not seeing the sun, not seeing what the world has to offer? Nick touched on these questions & more through Henry & his supporting characters in a very engaging manner that keeps you turning pages & wanting more. Aren’t you a lucky listener/reader (myself included) not having to wait for the next book (well kinda…book 6 due out soon)! Plus he’s released The Lassie Files that you can read without having read the 3am series but it’s written in a way that’s very complimentary to the timeline. It’s great just read/listen already!!
