FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR AND CREATOR OF THE HIT NETFLIX DRAMA THE STRANGER
With unmatched suspense and emotional insight, Harlan Coben explores the big secrets and little lies that can destroy a relationship, a family, and even a town in this powerful new thriller.
Suburban New Jersey Detective Napoleon “Nap” Dumas hasn't been the same since senior year of high school, when his twin brother Leo and Leo’s girlfriend Diana were found dead on the railroad tracks - and Maura, the girl Nap considered the love of his life, broke up with him and disappeared without explanation. For fifteen years, Nap has been searching, both for Maura and for the real reason behind his brother's death. And now, it looks as though he may finally find what he's been looking for.
When Maura's fingerprints turn up in the rental car of a suspected murderer, Nap embarks on a quest for answers that only leads to more questions - about the woman he loved, about the childhood friends he thought he knew, about the abandoned military base near where he grew up, and mostly about Leo and Diana - whose deaths are darker and far more sinister than Nap ever dared imagine.

Critic reviews
"Steven Weber is an exceptional narrator.... Weber's pleasant, fluid reading becomes more dramatic as the action intensifies. His portrayal of Nap is endearing and witty as he expresses heartbreak, stubbornness, and a desire for revenge. With a fast-paced performance, Weber delivers the sharp dialogue and straightforward writing style of this mystery." (AudioFile)

Steve Weber does a fine job; he doesn't even try to give voice to female characters, but he does a good job with the males, especially with the protagonist, Nap Dumas, who is supposedly telling the story.
Coben's writing is tight, snappy, and terse; no question he is a good writer. His characters are interesting and, in particular, I found Nap to be a believable character. To the extent that my enthusiasm is restrained, it is because of the plot. I found the ultimate resolution far more believable than many of the intermediate episodes. To say more would be to reveal too much. I didn't guess the outcome, which is outrageous but not entirely beyond the realm of possibility.
A great writer with a so-so plot. Well-narrated.

I’ve read another novel from Harlan Conan, entitled “Tell No One”, that sparked my interest in mystery novels. “Don’t Let Go” is a gripping story of a man who just wants to make peace with his past, but must endure the pain and suffer the consequences to get ease his state of mind.
Stephen Webber narrated this novel perfectly and with much enthusiasm, creating distinct voices for every character involved and I was truly impressed.
Great novel, and excellent narrator! I’d give this 6 stars if I could!
Phenomenal!
