Plenty of unexpected twists and turns. The narrator was great

I’d like to commend the narrator whose name is David Thorpe he is capable of doing so many different voices and accents that really lead life to the story. The book itself is fun to listen to and there are a lot of unexpected twists. Just when you suspect one thingThe characters discover something entirely different is true. This was my first Susanna Gregory’s books but I don’t plan on it being my last.

Interesting

I enjoy stories set in this time period and mysteries. The story seemed somewhat prolonged in places but was otherwise enjoyable

Scooby Doo!!

Narrator: As I thought I would, I’m adjusting to the narrator. His performance is still a little over done but oh well.

Story: I’m committed to the series and hope that the writing improves. I’m still frustrated with the author’s penchant for explaining every….single….detail. It detracts from the flow of the story. It’s not terrible, as these scenes need to occur to move the story along but there’s just too much of it.

Overall: As previously mentioned, I’ll continue the series unless it tanks altogether, which I doubt it does due to the sheer number of stories. I enjoy the stories for the most part.
