good story, poor narration.

the story is of course the classic one. Unfortunately the narration in this audio recording left something to be desired. Some of the effects used were distracting. Overall I found the inflections inappropriate for various key lines of the story. Still, a wonderful Christmas listen.

This is one of my favorite Christmas stories. Did not like how it was read.

Poorly read

It is as if the narrator was just reading word after word without feeling, with senseless pauses. Good voice with no storytelling skills whatsoever. Distractingly poor reading.
