About this listen

New York Times and USA Today best-selling authors Heidi McLaughlin and L.P. Dover come together for a sexy new series that delivers romance for every season! Tee up for the long drive, it’s golf season!

After winning the US Open, Greyson Jennings couldn't help but take playful jabs at the expense of his prime competition, Bryan Nelson. His snarky claims during the press junction may have burned off like fog on the green if a week later they hadn’t found themselves at the same golf resort. Hungry for a little payback, Bryan challenges Greyson to a grudge match: Grey and his best friend versus Bryan and his sister, Leah. Turns out, Leah is a ringer with a swing—and curves—that turn Grey’s thoughts to a hole in one of another kind.

Unfortunately, Leah’s opinion of him has been formed by the many stories Bryan has shared. That may hurt this golfer’s handicap, but he’s nowhere near ready to give up. It’s game on as Leah agrees to meet Grey on the green and go head to head with the hole as the goal. Can Greyson prove there’s more to him than an impressive club and a carefully crafted bad boy persona? Or will the sting of Leah’s rejection leave him in need of some alone time and a good ball washer?

An enemies to lovers romance

I love this series. Each short book is a complete standalone. In this book, Grayson has a crush on his golf rival's sister, Leah. He finally gets a chance to date her and they spend a whirlwind date falling in love. But Leah's brother finds out and is set on keeping them apart. I love how the game of golf is worked into the book. The characters are fun and likeable and you'll end up rooting for the HEA.

Wonderful story!

Professional golfers Greyson Jennings and Bryan Nelson have a rivalry that goes all the way back to college and shows no signs of ever letting up. Bryan's sister, Leah Nelson, frequently travels to competitions and Greyson has had his eye on her, but can you imagine the chaos if he were to ask her out? This isn't an issue because Leah is not at all fond of Greyson, considering the only thing she knows about him is the negative opinion of her brother. Then comes the grudge match, on the course, winner take all. Greyson and Leah find themselves in Las Vegas and married! How do they get out of this...or do they even want to try. This is a delightful story, a wonderful addition to the Dating Series. Amelia Mendez narrates beautifully with a dynamic voice, solid pace and just the right emotion to bring each character to life.

Grey and Leah were enemies turned lovers

This was a sad case of enemies to lovers but no real enemies encounter between the two. Most of Leah’s opinions about Greyson/Grey were from her brother. Her brother hated Greyson. I cannot say there was a clear reason behind his dislike of Grey besides jealousy. And maybe some lame comment made out of a temporary resentment between the two men.

Greyson shows Leah exactly who he is and the length he would go through for her.

Thanks Amelia for bringing the characters to life. I would like a bit more masculine in my hero.
