About this listen

I should've known Tatum Taylor was nothing but a pretty little liar when I caught her trying to sneak into my concert.

After I let her into the arena, then saw her in the crowd, I couldn't help but invite her onto the stage and take a birthday shot with her. We spent one night together before I asked for her number and she warned me to keep my distance.

She's engaged, after all.

Or so I thought, until we run into each other again.

Now, she's my pretty little maid, and the pain in my backside until my band goes back on tour.

Then again, I guess there are worse ways to spend my time than by burrowing under Tatum's skin the same way she burrowed under mine before leaving me high and dry.

Pretty little liar, are you ready to play by my rules now?

Pax and Tate 😍

I absolutely loved Paxton. I think everyone was maybe a little too accommodating to Tatum’s spiral, but the expression of grief and how a young person would navigate it felt pretty dang accurate. These book boyfriends may be hard on real life husbands… 😆😉

So good!

Rockstar, Kick ass FMC who is comfortable with her sexuality and who is also a little broken. Let’s face it though Kesloe Rae hits every single time. The narration was perfection.

Yet another amazing story!

I’m glad to have finally heard Tatum and Paxton’s stories. Such a brilliant and masterful way to conclude such a complex and beautiful character. I could truly feel her pain through her story and cried right along with her.

Paxton’s story is heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time. You can truly feel his emotions and how he cares for everyone. His upbringing adds to the bad boy rocker vibe. The way you see how he doesn’t look Tatum push him away is so relatable.

The life lessons we can learn from these two characters transcends whatever you’re upbringing may be. I see a part of myself in each of the characters and that is why it is so easy to fall in love with these characters. This is an absolute must read, but you definitely have to read the previous books in the series.

Now I am anxiously waiting to hear the conclusion of Jackson and Rory story. Please hurry up and publish the next one. 💜💜💜

Tatum grew on Me.

When I finished A Little Secret, I was sad to be very unexcited for Tatum's story. Her character just rubbed me wrong, but it's Kelsie Rae. So, I was gonna read it anyway. I started it and was pretty annoyed with Tatum for the first half of the book. Until she opened up to one of the sweetest MMCs ever written. I saw her perspective and appreciated the fear. Her young love wasn't really the problem it was the way she lost it. She never got to let it go in the natural way we all do. It was yanked from her in the most brutal way. Now, she is terrified of losing anyone she is close to or loves. I get it now. HOWEVER, Paxton was my favorite part of this story. He is a 1000/10 Green Flag! How he handled her "crazy" was just beautiful.

Narration was awesome and extremely well done. The voices fit the characters fantastically.

Lastly, I can not freaking wait for Jax and Rory. I was scared about that age gap, but having them be legit apart for so long is chefs kiss. It's been so long he didn't recognize her at first. she is all woman now! That hijacked epilogue got me so excited.

Holy sh*t!

Wow!!!! This was phenomenal!!
Each book in this series is amazing but this one WOW! It’s a close second in the heartbreak and healing you can feel coming off this book to the original A Little Complicated. We finally get the other side of the effects of Archer’s death.

Tate was secretly in love with her sisters ex-boyfriend and she took his death hard and pushed everyone to the best of her ability with the exception of Rory.

The first half of the book was good but the second half was phenomenal, we got to see her coping and pretending to heal but it wasn’t until Pax that she actually had to heal if she wanted to move on. And Pax was her perfect match, I knew that from the moment she came face to face in the alley.

That man is perfection! He was willing to give up everything to make her happy and to put her first. He knew deep down that he couldn’t ever replace Archer but he was willing and wanted to show her she could love another as well.

Kelsie Rae did it again and that hijacked epilogue HOLY SH*T! I cannot wait for Jax and Rory’s story. And I secretly hope if Dodge actually goes with Rory to the wedding that he puts on a show for her!

Love this series but this one was tough for me

By far my least favorite of both series. Tatum just came off as annoying and honestly weirdly attached to Archer IMO. Still good, just not my favorite.
