About this listen

Riding shotgun to face my boyfriend wasn't exactly on my bingo card...
Especially when the man behind the wheel is the one my boyfriend demanded I cut ties with.
Griffin Thorne is LAU's hockey captain, my brother's best friend, and my roommate.
He's also the only person I can rely on at the moment, even though he hates me after I followed through my boyfriend's...suggestion.
To be fair, I get it.
Why he hates me.
In a way, I hate me too.
But as long as this impromptu road trip stays our little secret, everything will be fine.
Maybe.
Hopefully.
Okay, let's be honest.
If my boyfriend doesn't kill me for sharing a room with Griffin Thorne, my brother will.

Great book.

The only thing I honestly didn't like was how Everett blurted to everyone she was pregnant without letting her tell them and then he even tells their parents before she can. Overall the story line was amazing.

Griffin Freaking Thorne

Griffin was literally the sweetest. I could imagine him so clearly. So swooney! He was both his parents in one for sure. I loved how supportive the family was, even though one of them had a bit of a moment!

Narration was fantastic.

My new favorite mind image is Reeves running yelling "PICKLES, MY PICKLES!" Hilarious.

I'm so sad to see this particular group of kids off. The next 2 will have a bit of a time jump based on the hijacked epilogue. I am nervous about the next two books with super sad girls, but if anyone could make it great it would be Kelsie!

Absolutely loved!

I honestly have been obsessed with this series! Easy to follow and easy to get into. I have loved the characters. There is loss in this that can be a bit heavy for some. But the characters were so good.

A Great Listen

I am hooked on this series. Maybe because I am so in love with the first generation books, that getting their children's stories just makes it that much sweeter.
Kelsie gives you a story that will tug on your heart and emotions while reading.

This friends to lovers story is one of my favorite tropes. Add in the best friends little sister that makes it forbidden, and you have my full attention.

Griffin and Fin are the perfect match and I loved getting their story. Through the series, I knew these two would end up together. I did not see the story unfolding like it did. But it hit so many emotions while reading. I swooned so much over how Griffin would do anything for Fin. One of my favorite things about this book is the representation of epilepsy. It is not something you see in many books.

Robert Hatchet has become one of my favorites to listen to because he does such a great job. I love him as Griffin in this book, and the way he speaks is clear but still a little demanding.
Summer Mortin does great as well. She is one that I have always enjoyed listening to. She has a sweet demeanor to her voice, which is Fin in the best ways.

I would read or listen to the series from start to current. Even though they can be read as standalone, it will be more enjoyable if done in order.

😭 This was worth the wait Kelsie Rae! I love this entire series!! And A Little Secret was absolutely perfect! ❤️❤️❤️ The friendship and chemistry was everything. Griffin and Finley were such strong characters. The Narrators did a great job at acting out the characters. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series ❤️
