Publisher's summary
Could an unconventional meeting lead to a happy ending or a lifetime of longing? Dwelling in the quaint little town of Asheboro, North Carolina, had its perks. It wasn’t just a town, it was a way of life to rally together. Everyone knew each other, and they also knew your business as well.
Grace Rollins had proudly called this community home since birth, but returning after time away could prove to be unpleasant, as her husband, Tommy, continued his old ways of womanizing. Finally taking a stand against her husband and regaining her freedom, Grace would often find herself alone and drowning her sorrows in a bottle. Until one day she became quickly sober by the realization that her small child was watching her spiral downward. She became desperate to keep her head above water. She had no idea that her life would change forever when her phone rang that night. Jake Brooks was just doing his job, but his natural charismatic nature couldn’t be denied by Grace. If Tommy Nixon had his way, he would be the last man standing.
Despite his despicable ways, Tommy always got his way. Or does he?

Story
In turn-of-the-20th century Texas, the Berachah Home for the Redemption and Protection of Erring Girls is an unprecedented beacon of hope for young women consigned to the dangerous poverty of the streets by birth, circumstance, or personal tragedy. Built in 1903 on the dusty outskirts of Arlington, a remote dot between Dallas and Fort Worth’s red-light districts, the progressive home bucks public opinion by offering faith, training, and rehabilitation to prostitutes, addicts, unwed mothers, and “ruined” girls without forcibly separating mothers from children.

Story
Born and raised in St. Claire, Lindsay Juneau's life was seemingly full raising a six-year-old daughter and caring for her widowed mother. Of course, things aren't always what they seem, and the newest resident of St. Claire isn't buying the ruse. Veterinarian Nicole Allen is looking for something different. She finds it in St. Claire with its hypochondriac rabbits, shotgun-toting shut-ins, and eclectic mix of people. The most alluring, though, is a woman who's also looking for something different.

Story
After leaving the city life behind to escape my loveless marriage, I moved to small-town Havenbarrow for a fresh start. What I didn’t expect was to find myself drawn to the town’s black sheep. They called him troubled, cold, a man with a dark past. What everyone seemed to miss about Jax was the splashes of light in his eyes, the random acts of kindness he performed when no one was watching, and the way he made me smile and laugh.

A Sweet Love Story
I don't have the kind of relationship with my mom that BB has with her mother Grace so to reading that emotion was an interesting experience. A Million Thoughts of Grace is about the love between Grace and Jake, but what stuck with me the most is the love between mother and daughter. All four generations of women who you meet in this book are in love, with their child(ren), and their child(ren) share that affection for them. Every other line is practically an "I love you" between a mother and daughter pair in the book (I'm being hyperbolic of course). Yes, this is a story about Grace getting her groove back, but it is also a testament to the love a mother has for her child(ren).

Beautiful!!!!
This book was amazing! The mother/daughter relationship was just so beautiful and heartwarming and healing for myself! The narrator did a wonderful job with the voices, and making me feel all of the emotions. The book started off a bit sad, but then it became such a wonderful story with family, love, and humor. I’m not one to read books with religion in them, but this one wasn’t pushy at all. It’s something the characters loved! This is based on a true story as well.
Grace and her mother are everything! Their banter, their joking. I was just laughing so much! I don’t laugh out loud much, but this book had me cackling so much! I think 3/4 of the book I was laughing and smiling. The end of the book made me sob. Such a beautiful story 🥰

You'll laugh, you'll cry.
I loved listening to Teece Reeders' book! You will not want to stop listening. The humor is on point, and your heart will wrench. Sharon did a great job as narrator, and I'm excited to hear the next book in this series. Thanks for sharing your story, Teece! You are planting seeds.🌱
