Publisher's summary

Mixing business with pleasure leads to a passionate night.

Harper Bennett’s motto is work hard, play hard. Lately, she’s forgotten the latter and has focused her time as part-owner, along with her brothers, of the hottest nightclub in Atlanta. When an intriguing client enters, Harper forgoes her promise to never date a man that doesn’t live in the same city and she finds herself playing hard to get with Hunter Arrington. The passion that has ignited between them can’t be extinguished, and she dreads the day he has to leave.

Hunter travels the world because of his career and has no intentions of settling down until his eyes land on Harper Bennett. There’s something about the petite, sassy woman that he adores and makes him feel at home for the first time in years. Now he’s faced with a life-changing decision and the thought of being without Harper isn’t an option.

Please note: This novella was previously published with the Bennett Triplets Series.

Beautifil

The Author and the Narrator were excellent in their respective jobs. Another fine presentation Candace Shaw.

I was left asking, where's the rest of the STORY?

This was a quickie love Story. FEELING like I wasted my point's. it was NICE but... I don't do quickies.

Decent story but it DRAGGED

I'll be honest, I skipped through some of the story, there was so much unnecessary dialog.

Good Time Passer

A great story to have on in the background or listen to in traffic. Predictable enough that you miss a piece and know what's happening. Decent story and clear narration. He doesn't do voices so it was hard to tell sometimes when the female characters were speaking. The story had a beginning, middle, and end. Stuff happened somewhat, but nothing really stood out about the story. I'm not mad it.

Yeah, It's Going To Be A Hard No For Me!!!

There is nothing I hate worse than a corny romance novel and A Passionate Night checks all the boxes for a corny romance novel. This book just didn't do it for me. It has all the boring elements of a bad Harlequin Romance novel written in the early 90's. I could count the curse words that were in this book on one hand and not use all of my fingers. It was just too PG-13 for me. The characters were likeable enough but, overall, the book was just bad. Even the narrating fell flat. I generally love when Leon Nixon narrates but, I did not like his performance in this book. I think it speaks to the content of the novel. Not even Leon Nixon could save this book. But, I will say, the sex scenes were spicier than I expected so the author gets an A for that. This was my first book by Candace Shaw and it will definitely be my last. This is just not the type of writing I like.
