In this short, funny, sci-fi tale, every human being on Earth suddenly receives a specific superpower. Everyone, that is, except Dale. But instead of moping around, Dale fools a world of superheroes into believing he was blessed with the power of making a perfect cappuccino. His business takes off beyond his wildest dreams—at least, until he meets Brenda, his personal supervillain, the only person on the planet with a perfect superpalate.

Travis Sentell is the author of two books (In the Shadow of Freedom and Fluid), and has worked as a ghostwriter for eight New York Times bestselling authors. He also writes for TV and film, most recently Amazon’s Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams and NBC’s The Thing About Pam.

So much for only 7 minutes! I felt like I was stepping inside this unique universe, and I laughed a lot. The story was both grounded and fantasic. It was both light and complex. I just keep laughing thinking about this great short story. What a delight!
