About this listen

The Reluctant Royals series returns with a good girl searching for the life that’s not too big, and not too small, and the bad boy prince who might be just right for her....

Nya Jerami fled Thesolo for the glitz and glamour of NYC but discovered that her Prince Charming only exists in her virtual dating games. When Nya returns home for a royal wedding, she accidentally finds herself up close and personal - in bed - with the real-life celebrity prince who she loves to hate.

For Johan von Braustein, the redheaded step-prince of Liechtienbourg, acting as paparazzi bait is a ruse that protects his brother - the heir to the throne - and his own heart. When a royal referendum threatens his brother’s future, a fake engagement is the perfect way to keep the cameras on him.

Nya and Johan both have good reasons to avoid love, but as desires are laid bare behind palace doors, they must decide if their fake romance will lead to a happily ever after.

Very cute romance

My favorite one in the series so far. Nya and Johan were so cute and sweet together, I could really tell they genuinely cared for each other.

I loved Nya's journey to be her own person and get out from under her father's thumb, and how she learned to trust herself again. And how Johan learned to be the person he really was, and that he was actually great that way all along. I loved their mutual respect and the love that grew between them.

I also loved the family dynamics in here, and again the strong message about sellf-acceptance. The way Nya would play a dating sim was also very cute, and it made me smile

The reason why this disn't get a 5 star from me is that I just didn't love their chemistry

Wow! The best in the series.

So good. Two fictional utopias, but still lots of realism in the best way. A hero and a heroine who are both strong and independent, but still learning and growing.

misunderstood individual find solace in each other

Nya has had my heart since the first time I meet her and the things she went through with her father. She needed to get out and be her. Then there was Johan. He was a character in all three of the novels and he lures you in with each new appearance. I knew when I meet him that I want his story, but just was not sure how that would take place.

When these two come together or not, you find that they are more alike than you first guess. I loved that the two of them found a bit of common ground and a way to connect. I wanted more for the two of them. Being in each of their countries allowed for you to see more of them both. I loved that Nya finally found a place that she felt good with herself and her surroundings. Johan's vulnerabilities gave you more to fall in love with.

Love my characters old, new, irritating, annoying, conniving, vulnerable, sensible, misunderstood, and more. I love the topic tackled with Johan's younger sibling. Nya understanding heart. Alyssa Cole did a fab job for me. There was a lot here for me to love and it was not just that I finally got a wedding but something extra special. Hope a follow-up to catch up with all the couples (all five of them).

The narration was one I have been use to because of the other books of the series. I enjoy her the accents real rich and relateable.

I needed the fluff

the book was very nice. I like the fact that both of the characters grew. Johan actually really did the most growing in my opinion but so did Naya. I am using Google Voice to type this so it might seem weird. I enjoyed the narrator's voice she made you believe that you were a part of these countries. I don't know if I'm going to read the other books in the series, what I might end up getting around to them and I might not so I don't know. about this book I I like I only did I enjoyed the story about the God you know the Fox God I kind of wish I had more to go on I don't know I just alcohol, you know it's a little bit more I guess meat and potatoes sort of thing if you get my drift. I enjoyed the book nevertheless
