This is one of my favorite books. I can't wait to listen to Morgan's story next.

Excellent!!

I liked the storyline. It let me see how low a person can get before they will trust in God.

Amazing!!

I wasn’t expecting this book!! It awakened something in me that has been dormant for a while! I cried tears of pain and fear as I recognized myself in the different characters. Great job by the author and narrator!!

Tear-jerker, smile grabber, a feel good story

I absolutely loved this book!! I kept it on my Ipod and was often listening when I should have been doing other things ... also volunteered to mow the lawn for my husband, so I'd have an excuse to listen for an hour or more. Noel grabbed my heart and I so wanted her to find herself in God.

Great Read

This book was very moving. The storyline lead me to analyze characters and try to discern psychological motives without some kind of supernatural tilt. In fact such a traumatic experience sometimes leads to memory loss and confusion. Without going too deeply into the plot I found the conclusion to be well done. I don’t recommend this for children or general “family” entertainment. I think it’s a 5 star read.

Best Christian Fiction

Very descriptive writing and extremely well developed characters. A great story! So wish someone would adapt these books for the Big Screen!

great

how can you not fall in love with this guy? he saves her from poverty and bad guys and horrifying memories! its great! I loved every minute of it! there was some suspense, and some tension and LOTS of romantic moments, with that wonderful Christian flavor. I wish that there was some kind of flag or sign that audible could put on books like this so I could buy them all - knowing they'd make me feel this uplifted (too often, it's a guess and I end up disapppointed.)

An Outstanding Read

I appreciated the author gradually leading us as the characters learn to understand God's love and mercy. Too often God is portrayed as a Santa Claus. Just pray and it will be healed, solved, found. In this book the central character has deep faith but develops an even deeper relationship with the Lord as the plot unfolds. God, in His infinite wisdom and love, is the hero of the story. He does not always answer overnight, nor does He always answer the way we wish, but He does answer. Surrendering to His will is a central theme. Congratulations to Kristen Heitzmann for writing a believable story about Christians that isn't trite or corny.

wonderful story

This is a well written story with engaging characters. Occasionally the narrator's transition at the end of the sections or chapters was abrupt causing the last word of one to run directly into the other. It was just not smooth but not too disruptive to the overall storytelling.
