January, 1944. What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I WAS LOOKING FOR ADVENTURE.LIKE MANY OF HIS OTHER BOOKS IT IS MORE SOAP OPERA.I HAVE TRIED A FEW AS I AM DISABLED AUDIO BOOKS ARE GREAT.BUT THIS IS MY LAST WITH THIS AUTHOR..SAME AS ANOTHER AUTHOR SAME PERSON
