Publisher's summary

This is the most entertaining and broad survey of the paranormal ever made, combining forgotten lore, evidence from parapsychological experiments and the testament of scientists, archaeologists, anthropologists, psychologists, physicists, philosophers, and also quite a few celebrities. Exploring the possibility that paranormal phenomena may be and that some most likely are objectively real, this travelogue through the twilight zone of human consciousness is both scientifically rigorous and extremely entertaining.

Listeners may be surprised to learn that reputable scientists, among them several Nobel laureates, have claimed that telepathy is a reality, that Cleopatra's lost palace and Richard III's burial place were recovered by means of clairvoyance, and that an espionage program using psychics was set up by the US military! The author proposes that all humans (perhaps, all living beings) are linked together in a sort of ''mental internet'' that allows us to exchange ''telepathic emails'' and make clairvoyant downloads of information.

Could it be that what we usually call ''supernatural'' is a natural but little understood communication via this mental internet? An engaging, entertaining, and informative analysis of a controversial subject in which these phenomena are approached as potential expressions of unexplained powers of the human mind.

Absolutely Mind Boggling!

The scope, depth, and vivid descriptions in this book will blow your mind! Also, Terje’s sense of humor is an absolute treat! Listen to Terje’s unbiased unveiling of all things paranormal, and go visit Alex Tsakiris’s Skeptiko Forum where I found him! This is a spiritual expedition at it’s very best!

Cons: "Emperor of USA" Obama Joke & Trump-Bashing

I have enjoyed the ebook version of this largely entertaining and well written look at possible hidden forces behind reality. So I decided to pick up where I'd left off there within the auditory pages of this adaptation. But the fairy tale story joke in which liberal icon Obama is Emperor of the USA probably made the author really feel good about himself while he is not a United States citizen who has watched this country go downhill ever since that particular president was in office. You not only get to read/listen about the paranormal, you get to hear the usual bulls**t about politics. Are there alphabet agencies demanding that this be inserted into mainstream publications in order to push narratives? I'm being entertained one minute and the next I'm smelling a fart in a candy shop. I was very surprised at the section of the book in which the author seems excited by a violent prediction made against President Donald Trump. Liberals are filled with hate but they believe everybody else is filled with hate, not them. it was disconcerning to see an author from another country speak so flippantly about the idea of tragedy occurring to a United States President. But liberals are a global hive mind. I'm an ex-Democrat, but the only thing paranormal in politics would be honesty and forthrightness, from right or from left. Nowadays any political talk in art is just propaganda and preaching, and dreadfully boring. The cheerful tone of the prose is not captured by the narrator, who does a fine job but sounds like he just attended a funeral for triplets then got a ticket for doing 10mph in the fast lane on the way home. If only this book had stuck entirely to its fun subject matter! Not everything is about politics. If the author disagrees maybe he should write straight-out communist propaganda for globalist neoliberal right-wingers-in-disguise. He might finally feel fulfilled.

Couldn't keep my attention for any amount of time.

I bough t this book becuz the reviews were great...I dont know who re viewed it but it has nothing to do with the paranormal or as what I consider to be the paranormal. I struggled with the first 2 chapters and then gave up..Could it get any more boring? I doubt it
