About this listen

A cantankerous old man takes an auto rickshaw ride in New Delhi that will restore his faith in humanity....

A young mother establishes an everlasting bond of love for her unborn child during a difficult labor....

Incapacitated, an embittered cancern-strewn man is forced to face his failed legacy....

Two young brothers’ innocence and support for one another mask the tumultuous, broken household they live in....

A Slice of Life is a collection of 12 short stories that reminds us that in spite of our geographical, racial, and cultural diversities, it is our emotions that collectively bind us. We all feel fear, apathy, and despair as well as courage, passion, and love. We all search for a meaningful purpose in our quest for fulfillment.

From hardship to triumph, we all ride this roller coaster called life.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This is a collection of stories that are all over the emotional map. They are happy, sad, and frustrating little stories. Of course, it is hard to "connect" with characters as each story is so short but it is definitely a good little collection.

The narrator was good but did struggle a little bit with accents in some of the stories. Overall, I loved the book and was really happy with it

Great Collection!
