About this listen

From the bestselling author of Beyond the Moonlit Sea comes an atmospheric tale of how one woman’s search for the truth uncovers long-hidden secrets and rocks the very foundation of her world.

Scarlett Fontaine is a true Hollywood legend—a singer, actress, and beloved fashion icon. But Scarlett dies tragically at just thirty-six years old, leaving behind no children. Or so the story goes…

Gwen Hollingsworth is the curator at a museum dedicated to Scarlett’s life. She’s also sole heir to Scarlett’s fortune as a descendant of the star. But all is not well in Gwen’s world. She’s dealing with a messy marital separation and is struggling to move forward. So when Peter Miller, a biographer and photojournalist, comes to the museum with shocking claims about Scarlett—a life of exile in Alaska, a baby born in secret—Gwen’s whole world is turned upside down. Again.

Determined to uncover the truth, Gwen and Peter set out for Alaska together but soon find themselves on a path toward something far deeper and more meaningful than either of them ever expected.

A Storm of Infinite Beauty takes readers on a breathtaking journey from a lush vineyard in Nova Scotia to a rustic lodge in Alaska where old family secrets are revealed and the quest for true happiness begins.

Secrets of a loved one

The secret was not what I expected. Could Scarlett Fontaine have left behind a treasure in Alaska? Enjoyed the narrators and how the story unfolds. The descriptions of the landscape and nature was captivating. Would love to visit Alaska for the Northern lights.

Beautiful, entertaining story

Loved this book. Very good character development, with a love story set in stunning intricate detail. I could picture the beauty of Alaska, and experience the earthquake as if I was there. Love this author and this book would make a great film!

Loved everything about this book!

An incredible story with an excellent audible performance. I’m so impressed that only 1 person did ALL character voices! I was a young child when the infamous Alaskan earthquake occurred in 1964, and found myself spellbound as I read this BEAUTIFUL story…So well written!

Being true to yourself

It was sad, but it was beautiful, in the end. we all have our stories and thoughts, it might take a life time to understand! in the end, we are never anything less then what fill your hearts! assumption and listening to others, sometimes is not the same, without, knowing yourself. it might take journey to find it!

Life may have other plans for you...

The most memorable moments were of the 1963 Alaska earthquake. I don't remember ever hearing about it as I grew up, but it must have been traumatic. I believe the relationship between h & Eric could be just as confusing as it was written, though it was so difficult to see him so emotionally crippled that he couldn't even face difficult things in his life. I could also believe that the h & writer could develop a sincere & peaceful love through their similar interests & attraction. And I found the backstory of Valerie & Drew to have an interesting ending.

Couldn't put it down

Well wrirren and definitely held my interest. I usually "listened" to books only while driving, however, the story was so interesting, I listened on other electronic devices when I got home. Also, the ending took me by surprise,
