The twist and turns... it kept you guessing through most of the book.

When the truth came out about what really happened to Casey and when how evil her mother really was came out.

No, This was a book club read and a first of this narrator.

Great Story. The narrator did a good job. I only wish there would have been a little better ending. Mostly a little more information and possibly one final interaction. Worth the credit.

I liked little to nothing about this awful story!!! An okay end but so many hours of listening for a paragraph ending

This is the first book that I have read by Miss Michael's. If they are all this slow and dull I doubt that will ever read another one. The narrator was not very interesting at her southern accent was atrocious.

This writing is a little different, risqué, but I liked it. The cussing I could do with out, but other than that it was excellent. It was my first audiobook.

Whole island hates a the victim in the story bashing her on the head running her down w a car.. she was raped molested & intuitionalized at age 9.
Sordid story.. start a graph to keep up w all the characters. No one follows up w all the murders & rapes .. unreal.

Would you try another book from Fern Michaels and/or Lauren Ezzo?

Yes I would read other books of hers...I have read most of her work, but this is the worst one I have read to date.Sorry but I did not like Lauren Ezzo at all. Terrible accent

What could Fern Michaels have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Story drags on too long, should be shorter.
