Publisher's summary

In Alien Assassin, book two of the best-selling The Human Chronicles Saga, ex-Navy SEAL Adam Cain finds himself attempting to make a living the best he can in the alien universe he's been dropped into - as an assassin! After all, with his kick-ass attitude and instinctive hatred for aliens, he's a natural at it.

As a human among aliens, he's stronger, faster, and tougher than just about everyone - and everything - he encounters. In this reality, Adam is the Superman!

Alien Assassin is a whirlwind adventure of incredible space battles, shoot-outs with galactic criminals, and even a love interest that is...well, a little different. And as all of this is going on, the political forces of revenge and 4,000-year-old grudges converge on The Fringe Worlds. But even as galactic forces close in on Adam and his gang, there's one message that all the aliens begin to grasp: Don't mess with the HUMANS!

Enjoyable

Only 6 chapters in but I have to complain a little... So a Navy Seal is bested by a female veterinarian, really!?!

Very good story

I am enjoying this series. The story is good IMO - not looking for an indepth work worthy of literary awards. The narrator isn't all that good but whatever.

Worst southern accent I've ever heard.

I had to stop after a couple of chapters. The worst accents I've ever heard. I'm from the deep south and was revolted. First time I've ever tried to get my money back...

poor narrative and shallow characters

So far the series narrator's voices for the characters make no sense, aliens sound more human than the humans do, and the drawn out inflections are a major distraction. The Author's characters have little development to them, they just exist with a flat motive, 'lets just kill aliens just because it fun' or 'we don't care if aliens die because they're just aliens' ? Again the aliens have more humanity than the humans do... it's not a terrible read, but I don't recommend this series for anything beyond a time waste.

not vary good

main character is an a** apparently so is his female sidekick. they just got done saying they were going to kill a single mother and her children and they don't care at all about the people in the story major xenophobes which raises Major red flags about the author
