Publisher's summary

He should nip the desire in the bud, but it’s grown beyond control.

Cyan

One second, I’m battling an overgrown hedge with a pair of clippers. The next, I’m running for my life, positive I’ve stumbled onto a prank reality show set, complete with a towering, red-haired guy in costume who throws me over his shoulder like I weigh nothing - I’m a big girl, never been thin.

Half of me is horrified to find out I’ve somehow been transported to an alien planet. The other half would sure like to explore the masterpiece of muscle under that armor.

Kinre

Horde life is simple. Hunt the enemy, kill the enemy. But after Loven broke the law by bonding an Omega meant for the king, life got real complicated. Instead of exterminating Telean rebels, I’m playing nice to recruit them for Loven’s stupid rebellion.

Then I make a big mistake. Huge. I rescue a helpless human, only to discover this curvy, tempting morsel is an Omega about to send me into a rut. Fleeing the Telean ship and returning her to the Horde stronghold means abandoning the Telean alliance - and destroying everything we’ve risked our lives for.

I should nip this desire in the bud, but it’s grown beyond my control.

Fun!

Well, I came back for book 2!

When I picked up the first book, I wasn't sure about this omega/alpha genre, but... it grew on me quickly. There were a couple of spots in this book I got lost, but it clearly didn't effect my stars for the book.

I thought the main couple was amazing. The heroine was spunky and full of life, and the hero was sexy without being too overbearing. I enjoyed the heat, and I look forward to reading more of these. :)

So Hot and so much base fun

This series is the smut I didn't know I needed and I'm so glad I went for it. Granted, I have to shut down my brain a bit, but what's wrong with operating on instinct for a bit ;)

I wish they were longer but at the same time, they never fail to hit all the necessary story points.

Aaron Shedlock is a dream to listen to and he really brings out these Alpha personalities. Ava Lucas is also really good, but this time her voice recordings were off. It seemed like she had a sore throat and had to re-record some sections and for that I took it down a star.

Yeah, after this book I'm pretty positive I'm going to listen to them all. Also going to make a very large purchase from Bad Dragon and name each one after these Alpha brothers.

Very good

I am very much enjoying this series. I did like the 1st book more but I am ready to see what happens next. And I’m curious about this stupid king that’s being mentioned.

More fun with alien Alpha males and Earth females

Kinre is trying to contact the Teleans hiding on Regha to get their support for Loven and the Horde. Cyan was working as free labor for her stepfathers landscaping business cleaning up the frat house when she is pulled through the space gate to Regha. It’s all Kinre can do to save Cyan from herself, from him bonding with her, and making the alliance with the Teleans.
Lucas and Shedlock do a great job of narration.

Love these books

In the first book, I laughed so hard it was very entertaining. And this book was equally as good. I love the combination of Ava Lucas and Aaron Sherlock. They do a great job at describing everything that’s happening in the book. And Their sexy scenes are extremely sexy. Must have for any alien romance lovers library

Ok storyline

As in most series style storyline; there are basic similarities to previous book; however, each character possesses some differences in personality and background. The narrators did a good job at character development. It is interesting enough to move on to the next book.

I liked it.

I really liked the story and the narrator's. however something is weird in the famale narration where the sound changes and the voice kinda changes. it takes you out of the experience sometimes. all in all I loved it though.

Very sweet, funny, loved it.

This was just as good as the first. I read the first book a few months ago and I don't know if was just me, but it felt short and like this was a filler book in some ways. The plot was very loose and it was more about the two characters falling in love. Much less tension than the first book and I'm moving onto the next one because I love these female characters and the males so much. There was some sex and quite a bit of sexual tension, but there really wasn't a whole lot of resistance on either character's part to resist one another and Cyan was just so laid-back in comparison to Kingsley. I understand why in some ways, I mean Kingsley was the first and only human woman for so long, but I also understand that if the author is going to make the third book work, this war needs to start soon, So onto the next book I go. Quick note I want to add: these guys are idiotic, misogynistic nightmares at times, but it's impossible not to swoon when they go to such lengths just to prove themselves worthy of a woman and do things that oppose everything they know to try and make their women happy while being dominant and possessive to such extremes that it makes these women feel deeply cared for. How can one hate anybody that does that? It's not possible. So when you first hear the way they talk about women, I think it's okay to cut them some slack because their king is the worst misogynist of all and I think he's been worried about the little red gift that each male gets when he bonds with a female causing an uprising and that's why he made it illegal. Just a theory, but Kinri was onto something at the end of the book when he thought to make use of the gift males are given after bonding. I just hope that the Horde in general becomes a little more understanding of women as a gender and treating them as more than baby-making machines as these two brothers have learned to do.
