About this listen

D.C. Copeland is a millennial writer who aims to communicate new perspectives about the self, the soul and society with a voice that soars with the banner of its own liberation and with the possibility of transferring such freedom to the listener. The writing is sustenance for anyone who wishes to confront the new millennium as a whole self; one who can include and even celebrate their own darkness as the fertile ground through which new life shall begin to grow. The book includes essays on drugs, mental health, art, fashion, theater, Freud, and the celebration of the sphinx and shadow self. The book is complimented by fantastical photography, which features the author as two different aspects of Persephone, Queen of the Underworld.

Calm voice yet full of expression, I love it!

This book is an in depth observation of cultures, arts, life, politics, and issues in society. The artist’s talents are self-evident; building as one progresses throughout the book, like an aged old good wine. She has great wit and gives the reader good laughs in her sense of artistic delivery. A lot of people can relate to the common issues and struggles that she uses bold statements to address. The voice comes from the heart and from her passion for existence as self-expression.

Challenging, smart, and like nothing I have herd!

Wow this manifesto is so smart. It is a voice I really never have herd before. The manifesto is broken into chapters that make you think you are going on a reckless journey but the narrator brings a whole new line of thinking into everyday matters we have become too complacent about. There is no way to chat about the details as it's a new voice and you just must try it. I will listen several more times as the literary references and quick witted thoughts are so fun to mull over. Enjoy listeners you are in for a fun ride.
