About this listen

A Warhammer 40,000 Novel

Angron is roused to war once again, unleashed upon a weakened and vulnerable galaxy. Can it withstand his boundless rage?

Listen to it because:

David Guymer brings Angron back into the 41st Millennium with a furious roar, as he calls his scattered Legion back to his side and embarks on an epic conquest.

The story:

In the darkness of Imperium Nihilus, across half a million worlds cut off from the dim light of Holy Terra, a beacon is lit. The Red Angel returns to an unsteady galaxy and his scattered sons heed the call to slaughter. Aboard the World Eaters’ flagship, Kossolax the Foresworn, self-appointed lord regent of the XII, fights to keep the old dreams of the Legion alive, but finds the return of his hated father both an opportunity and a threat to the warriors’ fragile unity.

Marooned on a worthless moon with a rag-tag band of traitors as despicable as himself, Ortan Leidis of the Angels of the Grail dares to dream of something greater.

Half a galaxy away, Graucis Telomane of the Grey Knights has been readying himself for this day, and plans six centuries in the making are finally set in motion – plans that will see the eradication of the Emperor’s greatest mistake once and for all...

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!

This books gives world eaters fans exactly what they need in modern 40k. Plenty of action an murder with the looming presence of Angron felt all through it. He's almost like a boogeyman in this and it works given his lack of personality otherwise.

Not About Angron

Angron is just a plot device in this book.
surprisingly it did a lot for flushing out some more lore for the Grey Knights though. All in all a good story, just misleading with its title.

Great if you like world eaters, not Angron

was a little disappointed that Angron really wasn't even a secondary character in this, more just a monster to fight. Still a great story though so a good rating! Just not what I was expecting.

Good if you like world eaters

Pretty good listen. VA gives a great job of selling the absolute unhinged lunacy of the world eaters with his seething noises.

The story is more or less OK, the ending falls really flat but any scene aboard the Conquerer is good.

Meh

Yea I was wondering why I had zoned out of this book. Then I read the reviews and it’s a pretty meh story with a misleading title. I was curious about what sorry you tell about a character who is in a constant of mindless rage who then got more mindless and argued… and yea , you just don’t , like this book failed to. I was looking forward to this book for a while but this’ll be one of rare refunds.

More screaming than DBZ

The World Eaters, once divided, unite for a single purpose. The psychic beacon of the corpse worshiping witches must be taken down.

A great book for the 10th edition of Warhammer, where Angron & the World Eaters are more relevant than ever before.

A Real Snore Fest.

This has all the ingredients to be a really awesome title, but with the slowly trudging reading and the monotonous storytelling, this book proved to be too boring to finish. I'm sure it would have been an interesting read, under different narration, but with what was provided, I'm surprised it was ever released in this format. I'd say buy the physical book and try that, but sitting through this chore seems a burdensome task.
