About this listen

When Horus fell, his Sons fell with him. A broken Legion, beset by rivalries and hunted by their erstwhile allies, the former Luna Wolves have scattered across the tortured realm of the Eye of Terror. And of Abaddon, greatest of the Warmaster's followers, nothing has been heard for many years. Until now....

Don't listen if you don't like collecting Chaos SM

Amazing. Abaddon is misrepresented in all other fluff and literature after listening to this book. He is collected, charismatic, and a badass.

No more Failbaddon the Harmless!

This is a great look into the heart of the Black Legion, with a great performance, probably Jonathan Keeble's best in my opinion. This does a great job at helping to repair what I, and a lot of other 40k fans, found unrepairable. As Abaddon and the Black Legion is the "bad" guy, GW has always made the Black Legion to be the greatest threat in the galaxy, but in reality they were about as dangerous as a Snotling trying to ankle bite a Adeptes Astartes. I hope the trend continues, because I think the Black Legion are amazing and would really love for them to shed their meme.

The comfiest fluff in a long while

Such a great start to how the Black Legion was founded! Brilliant performance of a well written 'recounting' of the adventure Khayon and the other in the Triumvirate of Undivided experienced in starting their new war. "We are the reborn!"

LOVED THIS BOOK

The beginning of the black legion was nothing like I'd imagined it and in some ways more than it could have been. The characters and story are brilliant. I look forward to buying the sequel.

Great story!

Easy to enjoy and follow. Managed to bring depth to characters not normally done too. I may actually give this one a reread ar some point, and I hate to reread books.

Great antihero

After Dan Abnett, this is some awesome 40K book. Went theough it in a week. It catches and holds you all 12 hours. Couldn’t recommend it more

Abaddon reborn

I always felt Abaddon was a relatively shallow character until this novel. Honestly had been avoiding reading it due to this fact, expecting more vanilla Abby instead of the genuinely interesting character in these books. This may be my new favorite 40k novel, and there are many.
