About this listen

Eli and Harper have fled the compound - running from people who once fought by their side. Owen has been captured, Sawyer is infected, and Celdon is facing a crisis of conscience.

When Eli gets wind of an attack that puts Owen's life in jeopardy, everything changes. Eli is determined to rescue his brother, but Harper will have to make a choice: follow Eli along on a suicide mission or push forward without him to find a cure.

In the heart-pounding final chapter of The Fringe, relationships will be tested, friends will perish, and the war-torn desert will burn.

Love, Love, Love the narrators!

The story is amazing, great post-apocalyptic series. Each book in the series keeps you interested and wanting more. Having a female & male read the respected parts throughout the book was a great idea. Completely made the series better. I truly enjoyed the fact that each book in the series was exciting in its own way. Highly recommend this entertaining series.

Thank you

Fell in love with the characters and was moved by the large array of emotions throughout the whole series. I started these books at the beginning of the pandemic and have gradually been working my way through them over the past year. This story was exactly what I needed over the past 12 months and I’m so grateful to Tarah Benner for creating this story.

meh

Series started off really good but this book felt a little anticlimactic. I think they stretched out this one and the last so they could make another book but it would have been better as just 1 book.

Lazy writing

These books start out great but as they go on it gets harder and harder to ignore how lazy the writing is. The characters are constantly making references to things that, having grown up in an isolated post-apocalyptic compound, they would have absolutely no point of reference for. How would Harper know “the unmistakable sound of windshield wipers skidding across a dry windshield”?? Also, why is everyone constantly murmuring? Someone get this lady a thesaurus. I had high hopes for this series but it honestly just gets harder and harder to slog through each one. Good story, bad execution.
