Once a normal-ish woman, mental illness wasn’t something that Sadie really thought about, but when the three evils - anxiety, panic and depression - creep into her life, Sadie wonders if she will ever see the light again. With her best friend, Aldo, by her side, can Sadie crawl out of the impossibly dark hole and take back control of her life?
Once you have hit rock bottom, there's only one way to go....
One in four people will be affected by mental health issues at some point in their lives, but it couldn’t happen to you, could it? Lacey London has spoken publicly about her own struggles with anxiety and hopes that Sadie will help other sufferers realise that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Where does Anxiety Girl rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is the first book I've read/listened to that has talked about how anxiety can take over your life. As I have lived with this disorder for most of my life, it was great to hear how the main character discovers the cause of her sudden anxiety attacks and learns how to deal with it.What does Charlie Sanderson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator gives a strong flavor of Britain. Being American, I sometimes had difficulty following her fast talking dialogue, but in general I thought she did a great job.Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
This is hard to answer because I identified with Sadie’s journey so much. Probably when she nearly kills herself.Any additional comments?
I commend the author for writing a book that deals with anxiety disorder and the fallout it can cause in your life. It’s always been hard for me to explain to people what it’s like. I really wish there were organized meetings for anxiety sufferers here in the States. So much in the Mental Health field is ignored here and so many services are not reasonably available to people living with mental illness. It helped me reading about Sadie’s experiences with it as I’ve never had anyone else to talk to who knows what it’s like. Thanks for writing this book, Lacey London! Well done!Great story brings anxiety/panic into spotlight
